Flat rate: $50-$55 based on experience. # Under the direct supervision of a Radiologist the CT Technologist performs exams at a technical level that does not require direct supervision over technical detail. Performs and documents weekly quality assurance testing on equipment according to established protocols to maintain high performance of the system.

Actively participates in Time Out procedures required for certain exams. Able to perform tests per ACR requirements and reboot/shutdown systems per manufacturer guidelines.
Able to recognize specific psychological (ie. anxiety) and/or physical needs of patients and determine when further assistance is needed. Promptly responds to situations which require a timely response and documents relevant information on incident forms. Able to locate and use all necessary emergency equipment (code cart, oxygen, blood pressure monitor, pulse oximeter, etc). Able to initiate emergency response policy.
Functions as a Technologist in other modalities (X-Ray, Stereotactic Biopsy, Bone Density) upon supervisor request and skill level. Able to operate all equipment correctly and efficiently. Active participation in maintaining break room cleanliness. Willingly performs other tasks to assist ancillary personnel pertaining to patient care.
Education: HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT
