Schedule: 7am-7pm Weekdays (specifically Thursdays) and/or weekends as needed Essential Responsibilities: Welcome patients and escort to exam room Prepare patients for radiology procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques Log radiological procedures, process routine documentation in EMR and logs Obtain and record vital signs (BP, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, waist circumference) Provide information and assistance to patients Perform blood draws, administer injections/vaccinations, and input medical information into EMR Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations; keep rooms neat, clean and well stocked Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information Assist the physician and medical staff with procedures and treatments Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree, Graduation from a Radiology Technician Program One year of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care setting BLS for Healthcare Providers ARRT Certification BMO or CRT license required Preferred: Certified Medical Assistant or willingness to be cross trained for light Medical Assistant duties Certified Phlebotomy Technician Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Understand CPT and ICD10 Codes Proficient knowledge of computer systems including electronic medical record (EMR) Proficiency with blood draws and injections Experience working with digital imaging Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients using excellent written and verbal skills Friendly personality and ability to work well as a team member My Health Onsite is an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
