Job Description:
Evaluates prescribed imaging and makes requested changes within 24 hours, accurately documenting treatment information in the patient electronic record and utilizing the record and verify system.
Reviews all new starts for consistency prior to treatment, verifying patient positioning and field orientation, and checking the record and verify system for prescription, treatment parameters, doses, treatment accessories, and monitor units.
Performs morning Quality Assurance (QA) on the treatment unit, assessing whether all equipment is operating according to physics policy and calling the appropriate person immediately after equipment malfunctions.
Assists in maintaining department supplies and provides supervised education experiences for students that fulfill curriculum requirements of the academic institution.
As required by facility, participates in after hours on-call coverage, maintains competency with afterhours treatment coverage, performs 2D treatment calculations, and works with minimal direction and supervision.

Assist the physician and medical staff with procedures and treatments
Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree, Graduation from a Radiology Technician Program
One year of recent clinical experience, preferably in primary or urgent care setting
BLS for Healthcare Providers
ARRT Certification
BMO or CRT license required
Preferred:
Certified Medical Assistant or willingness to be cross trained for light Medical Assistant duties
Certified Phlebotomy Technician
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Understand CPT and ICD10 Codes
Proficient knowledge of computer systems including electronic medical record (EMR)
Proficiency with blood draws and injections
Experience working with digital imaging
Ability to effectively communicate with staff and patients using excellent written and verbal skills
Friendly personality and ability to work well as a team member
