Patient management and education
Documenting daily pain assessment
Verifying correct side/site; Patient name; DOB prior to treatment

Ensuring medical equipment is maintained and functioning properly, including daily warm-up procedures and quality assurance
Participates in quality improvement initiatives

Education:
Graduate of an ARRT approved Radiation Therapy Program required

+ Analysis of dosimetric and planning results using software applications and tools.
+ Perform data input and analysis, including processing and digitizing films; analyzing and managing beam data; input, smooth, and document data input for planning systems; prepare planning system test cases; manage and document storage of machine data.
+ Acquire and or analyze treatment and quality assurance information including machine data, setup, and imaging information. Analyze these data with respect to expected results.
+ Perform machine and process-related quality assurance checks of the treatment planning/delivery process from simulation through the planning process to treatment delivery; analyze planning and delivery-related data.
+ Run routine experimental procedures in several areas of medical physics, including dosimetry measurements, planning and optimization experiments, and other relevant types of experiments.
