Position Summary:
A professional caregiver who performs diagnostic, fluoroscopic, CT and radiography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision; under the guidance of the CT/IR supervisor. What You Will Do

Radiation Safety
RADIATION SAFETY AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS - Follow all radiation safety, State and Federal regulatory requirements and conditions of the Radioactive Material License (RAML).

Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy as prescribed by the physician.
Verify prescribed treatment dose before each treatment; verify fields to be treated, and angles to be used.

This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this position will represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. and provide services outlined below:
International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is looking for an individual who is an experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technician to operate X-ray machines to create images of patients' internal structures for medical diagnosis. They ensure the quality and safety of images by providing compassionate care and maintaining patient comfort during procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform radiography of the entire body.
Performs such procedures as cholangiography, lumbar and thoracic myelography, gastrointestinal studies, intravenous pyelograms, arteriography, operative cholangiography, and arthrography.
Independently operate radiographic equipment to perform a variety of complex diagnostic radiographic exams, as well as on-call for all modalities with a 30- minute report time from the time of notification.
Receive patients, explain method of procedure, position patients, select and set technical factors, set up and adjust accessory equipment, and make and develop exposures.
Work equipment and perform duties independently as well as part of a team.
Be subject to the same quality assurance standards in meeting or exceeding current recognized national standards as established by The Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO).
Perform services in accordance with ethical, professional, and technical standards of the healthcare industry consistent with VA policy, regulations, and procedures.
Be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfil the Government's requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently.
