Monday - Friday 730-4pm with potential to be 4 10's The MRI Technologist II performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on patients of all ages for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. This role involves administering radiofrequencies within a magnetic field to produce cross-sectional and 3D images for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner. The MRI Technologist II is responsible for applying principles of magnetic resonance safety, selecting appropriate pulse sequences, and maintaining archival storage of imaging exams. Core Responsibilities: • Perform MRI procedures utilizing MRI scanners and power injectors. • Assess and monitor patient vital signs and take appropriate actions in emergency situations. • Demonstrate understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and MRI physics. • Serve as primary liaison between patients, licensed independent practitioners, and support team members. • Prepare, administer, and document medication activities in accordance with federal and state law. • Participate in quality improvement processes and continuous assessment of performance. • Engage in continuing education to enhance patient care and technical competence.
