Responsible for preparing and operating x-ray equipment during diagnostic patient exams while exercising procedures safely and accurately to capture specific images ordered by a physician to aid in patient diagnosis Principal Accountabilities: 1. Prepares equipment for imaging tests, based on physicians' orders and in adherence to department safeguards and protocols to ensure quality results. 2. Prepares patient and performs radiology procedures. 3. Also serves as the X-Ray Technician which duties include explaining procedures to patients, calibrating imaging equipment and preparing results.
