The Radiation Therapist 2 is a licensed professional, who under the general direction of the Chief Radiation Therapist, contributes to the organizational plan of the Radiation Oncology Unit, to the quality of patient care and supports the institutional philosophy. The Radiation Therapist 2 is technically competent, acts as a team leader to the Radiation Therapist 1, and interacts with all other areas of the department. Collects and documents data acquired during the simulation procedure. Accurately inputs treatment-related data into the EMR. Makes any appropriate patient-centric recommendations to the physician. + Assists as needed in all treatment-related procedures, including transporting patients, reviewing charts, and ordering supplies. The RT demonstrates the ability to recognize standard imaging / ARGT; and make the necessary to adjustments to ensure high quality treatment. + Performs and documents daily and weekly QA checklist. Notifies appropriate clinical team members and documents of findings outside the normal range of operations. Participates in programs to measure and improve the quality of care within the Department. The Radiation Therapist 1 is a licensed professional who under the general direction of the Chief Radiation Therapist contributes to the organizational plan of the Radiation Oncology Unit, to the quality of patient care and supports the institutional philosophy. The Radiation Therapist 1 is technically competent at the entry level, and is able to interact with other areas of the department. The Radiation Therapist 1 applies ionizing radiation to the patients as instructed and prescribed by the physician according to departmental standards, state guidelines, and Baptist Health System's policy and procedure. As a Lead Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to technologists in assigned modality. Taking a patient centered approach, you will provide CT services within professional standards and with excellent customer service. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.
