SVP & Chief Communications Officer

Nick Ludlum oversees CTIA’s communications, public affairs and events team and leads communications strategy on behalf of CTIA’s members around critical national wireless issues, including the deployment of next-generation 5G networks and wireless spectrum matters. ‎

Mr. Ludlum brings more than a decade of high-level executive experience in corporate, policy and regulatory communications to CTIA’s senior leadership team. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Group Director of Corporate & Public Affairs at Ogilvy Public Relations. In the role, he oversaw the agency’s Washington, DC public affairs practice, led the company’s US crisis communications network and founded Association Works, Ogilvy’s dedicated practice for trade associations. Prior to joining Ogilvy Nick opened and ran the Washington, DC office of Fusion Public Relations, a boutique technology public relations firm.

Nick has received numerous honors including being named to PR Week’s ‘40 under 40,’ a list of the industry professionals who demonstrate the powerful future of the industry. Nick resides in Vienna, Virginia and holds a bachelor’s degree from Emory University.
