Job/Position Summary
As a Group leader you will monitor, coordinate and schedule work activities utilizing people and equipment. Monitor production while assuring schedule compliance. Lead and coordinate activities in the absence of the supervisor. Assist in all areas of production to meet department goals. Collaborate with management and engineering as needed. Communicate and pass-down to oncoming shifts. Train individuals in processes as required. Perform production responsibilities 30% and 70% group leader responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
Follow all safety and quality procedures and work instructions.
Performs a variety of tasks, following sets of written procedures. Occasionally chooses among alternative courses of action within the limits of established procedures, instructions, schedules, and priorities.
The job involves exchanging information with other persons including providing answers, explaining procedures, and communication with others to obtain answers.
Perform routine production tasks under the close direction of the Supervisor and/or lead person, including but not limited to forming, assembling and packaging of our products; the set-up and operation of various workstations.
May require use of various tools and equipment including, but not limited to hand tools, assembly and test equipment, and soldering.
Where necessary, monitor work visually and dimensionally referring to blueprints, engineering specifications, and job instruction sheets. Maintain quality and rate charts as required.
Maintain housekeeping in the work area.
Responsible to monitor production activities.
Coordinate and schedule work activities utilizing people and equipment.
Monitor production while assuring schedule compliance.
Assure that process integrity is being maintained.
Audit and make sure that operators are following documented procedures. Make management aware if an operator is not following the process.
Maintain proper supply of required materials and piece parts to achieve production goals.
Perform or assist in cycle counts of inventory.
Other related duties as directed by management.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1 year of experience on manufacturing line, and ERP system
Any training or certification on lean manufacturing preferred
Reading, writing and communicating in English
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to interact with management and engineering.
Ability to communicate and pass-down to oncoming shifts.
Ability to perform routine computer data entry and queries is required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak effectively with co-workers and engineering and management staff.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Good manufacturing skills including good hand-eye coordination, close visual attention.
Good understanding of various machine set-up and equipment operations.
Able to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical/Working Requirements
Must pass periodic blood tests per OSHA requirements where applicable.
Must pass brief physical exam & pulmonary function test to determine ability to wear a respirator when required where applicable.
Ability to lift material and equipment weighing up to 50lbs throughout the shift.
Able to maneuver 55-gallon drums weighing up to 800lbs using a drum dolly.
Usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.

Job/Position Summary
The Materials Development Engineer is responsible for developing piezoelectric and dielectric ceramic materials and associated processing technology. This position reports to Ceramic R&D Engineering Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop piezoelectric and dielectric ceramic materials that meet customer or market driven requirements and company strategic direction
Hands on preparation and characterization of lab size batches and materials.
Develop powder processing and sintering technology to reproducibly manufacture formulations
Develop intellectual property in the area of piezoelectric and dielectric ceramic materials
Characterize dielectric, piezoelectric and mechanical properties of materials
Support production launch of new material formulations and related processes
Communicate ideas, concepts and results effectively through verbal and written communication
Presentation of experimental plans and results to peers and management
Requirements
MS or PhD in Ceramics, Materials Science or related discipline required
4-5 years of experience with ceramic processing with emphasis on mixed oxide powder processing is required. Specific experience with piezoelectric ceramic materials is preferred.
Knowledge of advanced ceramic processing technologies such as colloidal processing and additive manufacturing preferred
Work closely with manufacturing to transition products and processes from R&D into production
Work with hazardous materials (lead oxide), which requires wearing a respirator and following related procedures.
Some travel to domestic and foreign locations may be required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated fundamental knowledge of ceramic materials and processing with ability to identify and develop promising formulations
Demonstrated ability to transfer new material formulations and processing technology to manufacturing

* Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractors
* Knowledge of IEC61850, GE Zenith, ABB Protection and Control offerings (ZEE600, SSC600, PCM600 and associated relay hardware), Woodward Governor Controls, and/or Envisage energy management solutions are a plus
* A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
* A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required
* Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language
* Ability to travel as necessary up to 25-30% of the time to support project kickoff and execution or as necessary to support successful execution of assigned projects
* PMP Certification is a plus.

Position Summary
The cost accountant position is responsible for all aspects of Manufacturing and Production costing analysis and Inventory for Albuquerque & Nogales, MX manufacturing site. Key Responsibilities
Develops and maintains cost accounting system that ensures accurate costing.
Produces daily/weekly production, variance and ad hoc reports.

Updates standard costs and ensure accuracy in the Bill of Materials (BOM's).

Responsible for departmental expense tracking and reporting, explaining variances to forecast and plan.
Responsible for account reconciliation of physical inventories and cycle counts.
Prepares periodic inventory reserves reconciliation and monitors actions with support from internal stakeholders.
Assists in month-end and year-end closing by analyzing inventory and preparing supplemental reports as needed.
Works on special projects as required.
Plans, coordinates, and reconciles the annual physical inventory count.

Job/Position Summary
Under the direction of the Quality Department, and in coordination with the Lab Technician, the Quality Lab Operator III will support critical product testing for the temp sensing line of products, as well as administrative support for quality assurance documentation in Albuquerque, NM. This includes tracking samples, performing tests, reviewing and organizing data. Product testing and document / data review in compliance with AS9100 and Mil-Std 790.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Operate all environmental exposure and other test equipment to MIL document standards.
Maintain equipment in good working order, clean, monitor, verify calibration and preventive maintenance status.
Keep area well organized and follow safety protocols for operations in the lab.
Hand solder smalls components for testing.
Input data into control charts and report data.
Validate all data packets including CofC, test data, etc. prior to release to customer.
Maintain housekeeping in the laboratory and production work areas.
Other related duties as directed by management.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
1-year relevant experience as an operator or technician.
Direct experience with laboratory testing and equipment is strongly preferred.
Experience in an ISO9001, AS9100, or other regulated industry is preferred.
Experience with data validation and / or document review preferred
Reading, writing, and communicating in English with precise attention to detail is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Submit formal documents that comply with quality requirements.
Knowledge of metrology tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment and protocols.

Vice President-Global HVACR Segment Mgr
This role is responsible for promoting the ABB HVACR LV Drive Products range to the Data Center industry in the US and to get ABB in the respective Approved Vendor List of relevant end users, EPCs, specifying engineers/consultants in the field. This requires a strategic perspective to match the market landscape and potential opportunities with ABB's current and foreseeable capabilities as well as the ability to prioritize and develop a tactical plan to execute.
This role serves as a business consultant to senior managers, works with sales, marketing, and engineering teams on product development specific to the industry requirements and develop solutions for client specific applications needs and local market requirements. The individual is responsible for developing and growing ABB's relationship and market share by increasing share with existing customer(s) and/or potential customers.
This position will include a training period (1 to 3 months) based out of the ABB VFD factory in New Berlin, WI - USA. This position reports to the Vice President, Global HVACR Segment - Drive Products.
The work model for the role is: Remote in the Continental US.
Your role and responsibilities:
* Understand and communicate to internal stakeholders Data Center general architecture & applications and correlate to ABB Low Voltage Drive Products.
* Hyperscale / enterprise/co-location/edge data center / micro data center
* Government /healthcare/education/ energy & power / military / high-tech
* Understand modularity and scalability of the design
* Data center - Generation designs
* Develop and prioritize major potential direct business development opportunity pipeline equal to or greater than $50M for the drives business unit at HVACR Key Accounts.
* Understand industry dynamics, decision-making process and decision makers on product specification and buying decisions for motor and VFD "Approved Vendor List" definitions and inclusion. Positioning ABB as preferred supplier for industry is the ultimate goal.
* Technology trends/technology shifts - understand how the industry requirements are changing and translate how it affects the utilization of our products (for example: immersion cooling).
* Work with product management and marketing to develop industry specific product portfolio and marketing/promotional material including participating in related Trade shows and trade associations.
* Support local Sales Managers and Channel Managers to coordinate any activity with any existing target Key Accounts.
* Collaborate with other ABB Divisions and the Industry Team to develop sales opportunities.
* Establish strong working relationships across the player map to include C Suite with key customers as necessary.

Qualifications for the role:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university / college in a technical field with 8 years of relevant experience or Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
* Experience within a complex business environment selling technical products to data centers.
* Sound knowledge of motor and drive systems and the HVACR market.
* Product and market knowledge in Drives as they relate to HVACR systems and applications.
* Understanding of customer needs, experience in customer interface.
* Fluent English both spoken and written, good communication skills.
* Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft office platform and SFDC.
* Position will have 40% travel domestically. Candidates must have a valid driver's license.
* Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Job/Position Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer (Shaping) reports directly to the MFG Engineering Manager and supports the ceramic piezo and RF business. This position will oversee the manufacturing processes involved in machining ceramic materials.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Leads and directs the monitoring and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes to maintain/increase product yields and quality through the utilization of an array of continuous improvement tools (DOE, DMAIC, Six Sigma, Green Belt) and general statistical analysis methods.
Recommends and implements lean processes and products that improve manufacturing capabilities efficiencies, yields and quality with emphasis on ceramic machining processes.
Machining process optimization: Develop and optimize machining processes for ceramic materials to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Including selection of appropriate equipment, machining parameters, and cutting tools.
Provide diagnostic, recommendations for maintaining, upgrade existing equipment or acquisition of new equipment.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that machined ceramics meet specifications and standards. Develop/maintain inspection protocols and collaborate with quality control teams to perform regular inspection and audits.
Work closely with new product introduction team to efficiently and cost effectively introduce new products into manufacturing.
Provides technical leadership to technicians, engineers, and operators.
Reports and interfaces process and project status and progress to management in oral and written communications. Also, interfaces with suppliers, and customers.
Uses technical knowledge and ingenuity to resolve complex problems and provides technical leadership for their area of responsibility.
Works independently and periodically reports status to engineering management and plant manufacturing management.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to analyze and identify problems, develop appropriate solutions, and implement with available resources to complete complex assignments.
Ability to proactively develop new ideas/methodologies for continuous improvement.
Ability to interact with other professional staff throughout the organization.
Required Education and Experience
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related discipline is required.
Solid understanding of machining principle and experience with CNC machining equipment is required.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
Knowledge of ceramic materials and their machining characteristics is preferrable.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methods is required.
Knowledge of SAP is plus.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. You will also showcase your expertise by reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases and maintaining process documentation.
You will be mainly accountable for:
