The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Missouri S&T is seeking an electronics technician to serve various roles, including setting up and maintaining the instructional lab equipment at the MSU campus, based on the course schedule. The technician will also be responsible for assisting in the development of new equipment and experiment systems for the mechanical engineering cooperative program at MSU. As time allows, the technician will assist in development, construction and maintenance of both instructional lab and research lab equipment for the S&T campus Mechanical and Aerospace department. Therefore, the successful candidate must be a motivated, independent, electronics technician capable of handling multiple tasks and projects in multiple locations. This position will require frequent travel to the MSU campus labs and coordination between their duties on the two campuses.
