An Architectural Designer III is responsible for design and production of architectural construction documents under the supervision of a Project Architect/ Technical Manager/ Sr. Project Coordinator including design, set up and coordination of the documents, based on standard architectural practices and applicable codes.
Requirements:
An Architectural Designer III shall have a bachelor's degree (master's preferred) and a minimum of 4-8 years of experience in an architectural firm/field. This position requires advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT. An advanced understanding of architecture, building construction, and building codes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
Responsibilities:
Run projects with minimal oversight.
Design and produce construction documents and specifications.
Complete designated scope of work within allotted time budget.
Delegate, review, manage and accept responsibility for work of Architectural Technicians, College Interns and Architectural Designer I work on the team.
Manage with minimal assistance, the permitting process, including response to comments for architecture and consultants.
Assists in providing Construction Administration Services.
Resolves technical issues, answers questions.
Maintain CP standards and QC throughout project.
Skills:
Research and apply applicable codes, interaction with code enforcement agencies as needed.
Coordinate with engineering disciplines, including running a kickoff meeting.
Receive and assimilate project information from the Project Manager and/or the client.
Work with team to provide appropriate level of customer service.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required

POSITION OVERVIEW: As a CEI Project Administrator at LJA Transportation, you will be responsible for possessing a detailed understanding of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) construction contract documents, and CEI consultant processes and procedures. A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:
Manage small-medium projects while meeting the needs of the Project Manager as a team member on larger projects at all phases
Maintain project design styles, aesthetics, and quality to ensure high-quality required for clients' needs in decision-making and marketing. Work with the Studio Lead and Project Principals to ensure the projects deliver upon client needs, budgets, and capacities.
Understand workloads needed to meet projects timelines and work with Senior Leadership on scheduling
Develop working knowledge of appropriate construction, finishing, and planting materials
Lead and assist project Landscape Designers and staff to produce graphics and construction documents based on project needs and requirements
Responsible for keeping project information well-coordinated between project team members
Promptly and regularly communicate with clients, other consultants, and team members to both successfully deliver high-quality, built projects and to develop long-term relationships
Continue development of skills in graphic communication, efficiency, and knowledge in areas of design including, but not limited to, site design, planting design, and constructability.
Actively work with senior staff to implement new and improve existing techniques, tools, and processes in both the delivery and administration of projects.
Work with Project Managers to develop and maintain libraries of specific CAD details and templates to elevate the standard of documentation and enable future BIM transition.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
