JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance Techs will ensure the efficient and reliable operation of high speed and complex processing and packaging equipment. This includes troubleshooting, problem identification, maintaining, testing, installing and conducting all mechanical repairs on all of the processing and packaging equipment.
Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain the operating condition of production and processing machinery and surrounding equipment, this would include but not limited to hydraulic and pneumatic systems, robotics, motors, pumps, conveying system, cooking equipment , etc..
Troubleshoot malfunctioning components of processing equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics as well as manufacturers maintenance manuals to determine proper operation.
Maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for machinery in facility.
Complete accurately and timely documentation of maintenance records, work orders and task records.
Be able to perform all Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
Good mechanical aptitude and operation knowledge of control systems.
Effective troubleshooting skills and systematically diagnose mechanical or electrical problems
Setup, Start-Up, Adjust and Operation of Equipment; Proper Shutdown and Changeover as required by company standards and to minimize downtime

Qualifications
What we're looking for:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Knowledgeable in industrial maintenance of facilities and equipment.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment required. Applicable military experience will be considered.
Must pass UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible for employment.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.

Assist in the capture and upkeep of accurate equipment information in the Computerized Maintenance Management System database.
Participate in the initial installation & upkeep of equipment and piping label as required by plant policy.Develop personal skills through ongoing training both at the plant and through outside training classes.
Support the implementation and maintenance of an effective Preventative Maintenance program.
Make timely reporting & documentation of equipment breakdowns or mis-operation; provide troubleshooting to minimize downtime of plant equipment.
Record information required for Work Order closure time-spent on task, details on the work performed, additional work required and parts that were used.

Primary Objective

In the role of Utilities Technician working in Fort Worth, TX you will be part of the Utilities team in the Utilities Department. You will contribute to the overall department team by routinely operating and maintaining equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring the equipment is well maintained and runs efficiently with few breakdowns. You will monitor and control all refrigeration equipment and systems throughout the Brewery
This position will report to our Asset Care Manager and will initially be assigned to 2nd or 3rd shift. Must be available to work nights and weekends.
$5,000 sign-on bonus available, starting pay is $39.22/hr.
What You'll Be Brewing:
Operate, monitor and perform maintenance on utilities equipment and systems to ensure plant refrigeration, electrical distribution, CO2, air, steam, condensate and cooling water is distributed to all user departments in proper quantity and quality to ensure continuous plant operation
Troubleshoot utilities equipment and provide support to production on troubleshooting operational problems
Perform and document compliance PMs on plant ammonia and CFC systems as well as maintenance PMs/repairs as needed (Autonomous Maintenance level tasks)
Work individually or in a fast-paced team environment and learn/understand complex, technical and large equipment
Key Ingredients:
Must have Ammonia Refrigeration experience.
Must possess either a high school degree or equivalent
Prior Navy (Nuclear or Conventional) or Merchant Marine engine room experience is a plus
Industrial journeyman level and on-the-job experience as a stationary engineer and/or heavy industrial maintenance field
Must be capable of lifting and carrying 75 lbs. and able to service equipment throughout the brewery.
Working in physically confined spaces and awkward positions requiring bending, twisting, stooping and agility
Must be able to become Haz/Mat and Confined Space Rescue certified
Experience with machines or equipment operated: pumps, compressors, steam turbines with extraction and condensing, heat exchangers, high speed and/or potentially dangerous machines, pressure, temperature and vacuum gauges
Demonstrate proficient use of self-contained breathing apparatus within Hazmat Level A suit
Comfort with exposure to high and low temperatures, dust, high humidity and high noise environments
Must be able to work around NH3 (ammonia), CO2, acids, bases, chlorine, chlorine dioxide and high voltage electricity

Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Forklift lead, the Technician is responsible for performing periodic maintenance, repair, replacement and limited troubleshooting on various models of material handling equipment. Must be proficient in completing all required paperwork needed to perform all job requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics
Able to repair, or replace major system components, including circuit boards and other electrical parts, hydraulic, mechanical, L.P. systems, power steering and transmissions, engines with limited supervision.
Troubleshoot and diagnose most truck components
Perform engine tune-ups on most makes of equipment without supervision
Perform proper PM's in a timely manner
Be able to troubleshoot and diagnose most complex electrical systems on IC and electric trucks
Be able to use and maintain all special tools properly.
Maintain and properly use the normal tools of the trade.
Must have own tools.
Follows all safety procedures in performing work as well as company policies
Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills
Properly identify and order all necessary replacement parts
Perform other duties as required per management
4+ years of previous forklift repair experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance Techs will ensure the efficient and reliable operation of high speed and complex processing and packaging equipment. This includes troubleshooting, problem identification, maintaining, testing, installing and conducting all mechanical repairs on all of the processing and packaging equipment.
Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain the operating condition of production and processing machinery and surrounding equipment, this would include but not limited to hydraulic and pneumatic systems, robotics, motors, pumps, conveying system, cooking equipment , etc..
Troubleshoot malfunctioning components of processing equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics as well as manufacturers maintenance manuals to determine proper operation.
Maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for machinery in facility.
Complete accurately and timely documentation of maintenance records, work orders and task records.
Be able to perform all Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
Good mechanical aptitude and operation knowledge of control systems.
Effective troubleshooting skills and systematically diagnose mechanical or electrical problems
Setup, Start-Up, Adjust and Operation of Equipment; Proper Shutdown and Changeover as required by company standards and to minimize downtime
