GENERAL PURPOSE\: The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate makes eye contact, smiles, and greets all Customers in a courteous and friendly manner, treats fellow Associates with respect, efficiently follows all company best practice standards as outlined in all work centers, and ensures proper merchandise presentation. This role involves guiding potential patients through the initial admissions and screening process. This position is 50% inhouse and 50% marketing to the surrounding counties about our program. Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides habilitation or rehabilitation occupational therapy services to patients. · Performs patient care and completes documentation in a timely manner and within insurance guidelines · Demonstrates critical thinking skills and reasoning process in carrying out the plan of care · Assists and instructs patients in pushing wheelchair, supporting or lifting, positioning in and out of bed and other activities of daily living · Assists in specialized motor or self-help activities, constructs supportive or assistive devices · Observes patient for signs of distress and adjusts activities accordingly · Prepares clinical notes and progress reports · Insures patient charges and productivity report are performed accurately and in a timely manner · Instructs patient, family and other team members in proper use of assistive equipment, prosthetic devices and adaptation devices Qualifications Qualifications · Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program · Must have current valid license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the state(s) of practice Additional Skills/Abilities · Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills · Must have basic computer skills · Must have strong interpersonal skills · Must have knowledge of the regulatory requirements at the state, federal, and local level

Assists patients with billing issues and/or inquiries and works to bring any problems to a favorable resolution. Acts as liaison between PBO and outside vendors and addresses issues such that productivity is maximized for both. Processes bankruptcy and estate accounts and fills requests for itemized bills in a prompt, timely and accurate manner. Prepares and files refund requests. Accurately and thoroughly documents pertinent events regarding the handling of the account, including researching prior accounts. Posts payments and contractual to appropriate patient accounts and moves balances to patient balance or secondary insurance as required. Balances deposits to Cerner and/or CPSI, posting daily and reconciles any discrepancies. Demonstrates and encourages team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences. Upholds and promotes patient safety and quality. Manages all insurance authorization demands per payor. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or experience in medical billing. Experience: 2 or more years' experience in healthcare billing preferred. 1 or more years' experience in Home Health billing preferred. Some Home Health Oasis knowledge also preferred. Additional Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent computer skills, working with Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets. Strong organizational skills and ability to work under time restraints.

Troubleshoot, repair and calibrate bio-medical and other electronic equipment. Perform minor electrical and/or mechanical repairs, along with any other duties assigned. Perform periodic, functional and electrical safety checks on bio-medical equipment. Maintain bio-medical equipment supplies inventory and equipment records. Qualifications Education: Knowledge of testing, operation, and maintenance of bio-medical equipment as normally acquired through two years of formal education and training in bio-medical equipment technology or closely related electronics training preferred. Experience: 5 years of hospital bio-medical experience with repairing all types of equipment and moderate level of analytical ability is preferred. Additional Skills/Abilities: Must be able to use a multi-meter and amp meter and be able to manage multiple calls to assist other technicians/mechanics at once.
