    The Cut Yardage Associate is responsible for performing all functions related to filling orders of cut yardage requests from customers. Includes but not limited to corresponding to such requests through various communication channels, pulling rolls of fabric from storage, preparing fabric for inspection, and cutting yardage to customer specifications. This role will also be responsible for restocking fabrics rolls to inventory racks and coordinating shipment of these fabric materials to clients via Federal Express and UPS. Position responsibilities: * Retrieves skid and transports to available rack location using pallet jack or order picker. * Reads rack location and individual roll prior to putting rolls in rack. * Manually transfers rolls from skid to rack or rack to skid. * Inspects finished fabrics and checks for un-flagged defects. Checks bow/bias, fabric, width, and pattern repeats if applicable. * Uses cutting table to measure and cut rolls of fabric to meet customer specifications. * Replaces batteries and exchanges power packs in readers, as necessary. * Connects discharged battery to charger. * Checks out order picker at beginning of shift to ensure trucks are operating properly. * Receives instructions from customer service as to which orders to pick via email. * Clerical duties include processing requests through Sample Roll Application program by taking manual orders and entering into AS400 system for order fulfillment. * Matches all tickets and paperwork for shipping and for returning balance rolls to stock. * Identifies any discrepancies on completed orders and reviews with Warehouse Manager. * Reprints and replaces any labels that are damaged. * Sorts out goods to be binned from those being shipped to Culp warehouses. * Checks skids to make sure that finished goods are loaded on proper truck. * Prints and processes bill of lading for FX and UPS. * Transports empty skids to designated storage areas. * Uses fork trucks and order pickers to pull orders and locate stock. * Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain clean workspace. * Able to adhere to established Safety procedures. * Any other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager. Role Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience: * Previous textile, warehouse, inspection experience in an industrial environment. * Familiarity with Windows operating system; ability to use Excel and Word applications. * Communication skills. Telephone, Email etc. * Knowledge of interstate Bill of Laden procedures and use thereof. * Ability to use cutting tables designed specifically for Cut Yards application. * Ability to use or be trained to use fork truck, order picker, pallet jack, skids, hand-held reader and laser gun, battery charger, and chain hoist. * Use of piece tickets, swift tacks, tape, plastic bags, and bag ties. * Read and understand locator forms and shipping * Basic mathematical skills. * Strong team player. * Commitment to company values. Position responsibilities: * Operates and maintains the baggers and conveyors to maximize inspection department efficiency. Spray twice daily, each shift. Empty plastic on each bagger at the end of each shift. * Assesses, troubleshoots, corrects, and clears bagger warning codes to minimize machine downtime. * Corrects any roll transport sequencing issues in a timely manner to ensure rolls drop to their designated locations. * Changes the poly film rolls on the baggers and performs calibration function and ensure it is not empty. * Services inspection by using the tugger to bring finished fabric to the inspectors and precisely place the A-frames and buggies at the inspection machines, and watch out for the red lid. * Returns empty A-frames and buggies to the staging area. If bathing big rolls, fill up on greige A foam. * Keep Inspectors fully loaded with product to minimize wait on work time. * Read and interpret work order documents to determine which product goes to which inspectors.     The Cut Yardage Associate is responsible for performing all functions related to filling orders of cut yardage requests from customers. Includes but not limited to corresponding to such requests through various communication channels, pulling rolls of fabric from storage, preparing fabric for inspection, and cutting yardage to customer specifications. This role will also be responsible for restocking fabrics rolls to inventory racks and coordinating shipment of these fabric materials to clients via Federal Express and UPS. Position responsibilities: Retrieves skid and transports to available rack location using pallet jack or order picker. Reads rack location and individual roll prior to putting rolls in rack. Manually transfers rolls from skid to rack or rack to skid. Inspects finished fabrics and checks for un-flagged defects. Checks bow/bias, fabric, width, and pattern repeats if applicable. Uses cutting table to measure and cut rolls of fabric to meet customer specifications. Replaces batteries and exchanges power packs in readers, as necessary. Connects discharged battery to charger. Checks out order picker at beginning of shift to ensure trucks are operating properly. Receives instructions from customer service as to which orders to pick via email. Clerical duties include processing requests through Sample Roll Application program by taking manual orders and entering into AS400 system for order fulfillment. Matches all tickets and paperwork for shipping and for returning balance rolls to stock. Identifies any discrepancies on completed orders and reviews with Warehouse Manager. Reprints and replaces any labels that are damaged. Sorts out goods to be binned from those being shipped to Culp warehouses. Checks skids to make sure that finished goods are loaded on proper truck. Prints and processes bill of lading for FX and UPS. Transports empty skids to designated storage areas. Uses fork trucks and order pickers to pull orders and locate stock. Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain clean workspace. Able to adhere to established Safety procedures. Any other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager. Role Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience: Previous textile, warehouse, inspection experience in an industrial environment. Familiarity with Windows operating system; ability to use Excel and Word applications. Communication skills. Telephone, Email etc. Knowledge of interstate Bill of Laden procedures and use thereof.
