The KEYS Academy Teacher demonstrates an understanding of curriculum, subject content, and the developmental needs of students by providing relevant learning experiences and effectively engaging students in learning using a variety of instructional strategies. The KEYS Academy Teacher plans using the Virginia Standards of Learning, the school's curriculum, effective strategies, resources, and data to meet the needs of all students and systematically gathers, analyzes, and uses relevant data to plan instruction, measure student academic progress, and provide feedback to students and parents. The KEYS Academy Teacher uses resources, routines, and procedures to provide a respectful, positive, safe, student- centered environment that is conducive to learning and demonstrates knowledge and integration of the KEYS Curriculum and the Social Thinking Program into their classroom daily. The KEYS Academy Teacher maintains a commitment to professional ethics, and effective communication and takes responsibility for and participates in professional growth that results in enhanced student learning and acceptable, measurable, and appropriate student academic progress. The KEYS Academy Teacher performs all duties in a manner that supports a sense of well-being, availability for learning and safety, dignity and opportunity for all.
Prepares classroom for class activities
Clearly defines classroom environment to allow students to understand boundaries
Develops a classroom management plan and individual behavior plans as needed
Develops lesson plans
Uses student learning data to guide planning
Identifies and selects instructional resources and methods that support and expand the on-line curriculum and support the Virginia SOLs
Plans instruction by embedding communication and social skill development
Aligns IEP goals to instructional plans
Aligns instructional plans to the SOLs and school curriculum
Develops plans based on evidence-based practices
Plans for student transition while encouraging self-determination
Creates and ensures use of master schedule by all staff in the classroom

Organizes instructional materials and ensures accessibility of materials to staff prior to instructional delivery
Keeps up to date with developments in on-line learning program, teaching resources, and methods and makes relevant changes to instructional plans and activities

Qualifications:
Holds a valid teaching license from an accredited College or University, licensed in Special Education with endorsements in Special Education with endorsements in Emotional Disabilities (ED), Special Education General Curriculum K-12 or another Special Education Degree with sufficient time, training, and ability to carry out the duties involved.
Maintains qualifications necessary to perform the duties of KEYS Academy Teacher. Completion of competency based universal precautions training.
Completion of competency based de-escalation and physical restraint crisis intervention techniques training. Completion of competency based training in safe transportation of students. Completion of competency based medication administration training.
Completion of competency based Confidentiality training.
Completion of competency based Ethics training. Proof of maintaining CPR/First Aid certification. Completion of APEX, Hybridge, and LEXIA training (on-line learning programs).

Supports and participates in the labor-management partnership process and fosters a work environment where all employees are treated in a fair and equitable manner. The AGM is responsible for the coordination of district management investigations. The AGM demonstrates the ability to collaborate with multiple organizational units; including the bargaining unit representatives, and projects to accomplish mission objectives by addressing tactical issues that require cooperation between different facilities, districts, and service units. Ensures coordinated responses by working with counterparts and maintains a positive working relationship at the appropriate levels of other organizations to enable problem solving at the lowest level. Provide Tier 1, 2, and 3 maintenance support for deployed cyber security technologies.
Assist with periodic and regular security assessments.
Assist with the development and maintenance of information security policies, standards, and control procedures to enable compliance with RMF.
Assist with POA&M management, mitigation statement formulation, and interfacing with system administrators to resolve open findings of high and at-risk systems.
Perform security assessments on hardware/software products to include physical, virtual, boundary, and security appliances.
Implement continuous monitoring tools and processes, development of improvements to security assessments regarding accuracy and efficiency as well as integration of new techniques to improve the confidentiality - integrity - availability of network/operational systems at multiple classifications levels.
Requirements:
Must have active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or TS with the ability to acquire SCI
Experience in Splunk role while working in a Splunk Clustered Environment
Knowledge and experience with NESSUS/ACAS and Trellix administration
Must be able to work a 40-hour work week, normally Monday through Friday.
Ability to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last-minute requests for overtime if needed.
Ability to travel (5-10%) primarily within 75 miles.
Familiarity with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Project, and Visio.
Exceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong critical thinking, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Required Certifications:

o Level II certs include - CCNA Security, GISCP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP
o Level III certs include - CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH
Preferred:
Ability to work within VMWare, VCenter, and Nutanix building Red Hat systems
Configure, operate, and maintain ForeScout, Tripwire and Ivanti tool suites
Possess understanding and experience with common cybersecurity toolsets and processes to include STIGS, IAVA Management and Implementation, and OPORD/FRAGO support
Demonstrated experience in analysis simulation environment, configuration/troubleshooting software/hardware enhancements, application deployments, and infrastructure upgrades in a dynamic information system hosting environment
Proficiency with Red Hat/Linux
Managing Red Hat Satellite/Ansible
At least one of the following certifications is preferred:
o Splunk Core Certified Advanced Power User
o Splunk Enterprise Certified Administrator

Examine injured persons and administer first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, if necessary, using training, medical supplies and equipment.

Rescue distressed persons, using American Red Cross rescue techniques and equipment.
Maintain quality of pool water by testing chemical levels.
Maintain sanitary conditions of all other facilities within the pool area including bathrooms and pool deck.
