Position Summary: Responsible for tracking slow-moving, excess, or obsolete inventory. Scheduling and oversite of inventory counts and discrepancies. File, monitor and analyze warranty claims to ensure we are maximizing warranty return dollars. Responsible for the reconciliation and expedition of all invoices associated with the fleet maintenance and distribution network. Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate weekly cycle counts and track discrepancies in TMW/TMT software. 2. Coordinates/schedules complete physical inventory count annually. 3. Generate reports to track inventory levels, aged inventory, adjustments, and min/max control. 4. Company administrator for the TMW/TMT management system. Maintain accurate records in inventory and shop management systems. 5. Responsible for the reconciliation, coding and submitting of all invoices associated with the fleet maintenance and distribution network through AP software Stampli. 6. Responsible for payroll approval and time off scheduling for all fleet maintenance employees 7. File warranty claims with OEMs and third-party vendors 8. Track open warranty cases and follow up for timely resolution. 9. Maintain documentation and records for all warranty-related activities. 10. Collaborate with technicians to gather necessary information for accurate claim submission. 11. Monitor and analyze warranty trends to identify repeated issues or failures. 12. Coordinate warranty parts return and manage reimbursement processes. Position Summary: To grow sales, profitability, and market share of the category with responsibility over: * Business strategy * Budgeting * Vendor negotiations and contracting * Space and assortment optimization * Pricing and promotional strategy * Analyzing sales data, industry data, and consumer insights to grow sales and share * Communicating category initiatives precisely to all internal and external teams. Supervisory responsibility over a minimum of one (1) Assistant Category manager, accountable for training, development, and mentorship of the team member on a regular basis. Responsibilities: 1. Category Management - create and execute assortments that will resonate strongly with our guests while meeting or exceeding annual sales and profit goals. 2. Analytics & Reporting - analyze sales and industry data to drive actionable insights to grow the business, including: * Analyzing data within the category and sub-categories * Analyzing promotional impact and effectiveness * Create and present weekly and month category reviews to management 3. Partnership with Cross Functional Support teams - build strong and durable relationships with critical stakeholders to ensure the precise execution of monthly merchandising strategies. Key relationships include: * Store Operations - communicate with front line team effectively and in detail to ensure upcoming strategies, promotions, resets, or other projects are executed at a high level * Pricebook - partner with the pricebook team on new item set up, promotions, and price changes to ensure all skus and promotions function properly. * Space Planning - regularly optimize and evaluate layouts and planograms to increase sales and optimize profitability of each sku net of vendor funding. Ensure all monthly and annual timelines are communicated and met to reset fixtures and assortments efficiently. * Finance - ensure all invoices, payments, and rebates are accurate and on time. Maintain open lines of communication with national and local vendors to ensure timely payments of invoices and rebates. * Vendors - work closely with national and local vendors, sales teams, and DSD networks to ensure a high level of daily in stock on all products. Ensure all invoicing and returns processes are followed rigorously across all vendors. 4. Supply chain and inventory management and collaboration * Work closely with all distribution and procurement teams on new item launches, major promotions, and seasonal items to ensure a high level of in stock to optimize sales. * Review and monitor Inventory Reports from McLane and WDC and ensure ongoing communication around inventory levels. 5. Supervisory responsibility over a minimum of one (1) Assistant Category manager, with responsibility for training, development, and mentorship of the team member on a regular basis. 6. Other duties as assigned by the Category Manager or Marketing Leadership. Working Relationships: INTERNAL: Within Marketing: Advertising Team; POS/Price Book Team; Merchandising/Planogram Team Within Store Support Center: IT Department; Legal Department; Strategic Sourcing; Finance Team; Supply Chain/Warehouse Team Retail Operations Team: Retail Vice President's; Regional Manager's; District Manager's, Store Managers EXTERNAL: Direct Vendors, Brokers, Distributors Requirements Minimum Education: Associate's degree in business, Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field. Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field. Minimum Experience: 1-3 years in retail support, category management, or buying role at a retailer of scale. Preferred Experience: Strong analytical, commercial, communication, and organizational skills. Licenses/Certifications: NA Soft Skills/Competencies: * Must be well organized and detail/process oriented. Must also possess strong communication skills, which include a pleasant and professional phone manner. Should be able to successfully work within a fast-paced environment * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Strong Presentation Skills * Ability to foster team work and build collaborative relationships * Strong interpersonal skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Travel: 0-25% travel required Hours & Conditions: Monday - Friday, 8+ hour days in office setting Physical Requirements: Minimal physical effort required; sitting / standing at computer for long periods of time.
