Responsibilities
As a Warehouse/Driver associate, you will perform a variety of duties required to offer our customers world class service and support. Perform various warehouse duties to receive and verify incoming materials, maintain stock areas, prepare sales orders, pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies. Verify merchandise and ensure accuracy
Work from a daily schedule, work orders, verbal and written instructions
Use motor truck, hand and mobile lift equipment, simple hand and power tools, weighing scales, postage meters
Operate company vehicle to pick up and deliver orders, equipment, and mail as required. Sort assignments and arrange most efficient route
Assist in counter and telephone sales, order pulling, customer calls as needed
Maintain clean driving record
Requirements
1+ yr+ proven customer service / warehouse experience, ideally in a distribution or parts counter environment
Basic computer skills, accurate data entry skills, math & mechanical aptitude, basic reading skills
Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR)
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and regular lifting of 50 lbs. or more
High school diploma or equivalent
Starting Salary: In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $20-$21/hour depending on experience, including potential bonus opportunities. Bonus amounts can be tied to company, location and/or individual performance, but no specific amount is guaranteed.

Key responsibilities:
Operational Management (60%)
Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee all warehouse functions including receiving, inspection, storage, cycle counting, picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, and investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
WMS & Metrics: Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other relevant software to track inventory, analyze performance data, and produce reports on productivity, quality, and volume.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement innovative or adjusted workflow procedures to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Equipment Management: Ensure all warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is properly maintained, inspected, and operated safely by certified personnel.
Team Leadership & Safety (40%)
Bilingual Supervision: Directly supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing clear instructions, coaching, and performance feedback in both English and Spanish.
Training & Development: Conduct new employee training and continuous cross-training for the team on SOPs, WMS usage, and safety protocols.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce all company, local, and federal (e.g., OSHA) safety regulations. Lead regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
Communication: Act as the primary communication link between the floor team, management, and other departments (Logistics, Customer Service, Production).
Minium Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center environment, with at least 3 years in a dedicated supervisory role.
Language: Complete professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting).

In this role, youll play a vital part in maintaining safe professional delivery of water treatment chemicals (both hazmat and non-hazmat), delivering in a box truck, providing exceptional service to our valued customers. When not delivering shipping/receiving/warehouse responsibilities will be required.

Main Responsibilities of the position:
Chemical Deliveries
Handle bulk, point-of-use, and standard dock deliveries.
Ensure all deliveries meet customer requirements and safety standards.
Shipping
Stage and load HOH trucks daily using a forklift.
Load outbound shipments for common carriers.
Schedule common carriers using the Transportation Management System (TMS).
Prepare Bills of Lading and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in compliance with DOT regulations.
Receiving
Unload inbound shipments from common carriers.
Process purchase order receipts accurately.
Create and receipt warehouse transfers from the Chicago location.
Parcel Shipments
Prepare and label FedEx/UPS packages.
Process parcel shipments through FedEx and UPS systems.
Inventory Management
Conduct monthly cycle counts.
Ensure products are placed in designated storage locations.
General Maintenance
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Ensure all products are off the floor by the end of each workday.
Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
Requirements:
Successful completion of a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE), Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and Drug Screening?
Valid CDL license.
Hazmat Endorsement, Tanker Endorsement, & Air Brakes Endorsement (must have within 30 days of hire)
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Must currently be 21 years of age
Physical Demands
Physical ability to sit while driving to customer sites for extended periods of time, frequent walking to customer sites, climb stairs or ladders, handle chemicals while wearing proper PPE. Must be willing to work in environments with hot and cold temperatures. Wearing proper PPE on face, ears, and hands. The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and must occasionally lift over 50 lbs. and/or move up to 500 pounds with proper equipment.
