Clint Stinchcomb is the President and CEO of CuriosityStream. He sets the strategy and oversees all operations for the global factual entertainment company and streaming service. Stinchcomb has led CuriosityStream through 2 consecutive years of record growth, starting in 2018 as he joined Founder and Chairman John Hendricks to take the company through its first ever capital funding round, and ending that year surpassing 1 million paid subscribers. In 2019, under Stinchcomb’s leadership, CuriosityStream experienced 10x growth, hitting a milestone 10.5 million paid subscribers around the world. And after completing a successful reverse merger in October 2020, CuriosityStream is now the first publicly-traded streaming media company focused on delivering factual content, and the most distributed ‘pure play’ video streaming service to be publicly listed behind Netflix. Stinchcomb joined CuriosityStream in 2017 as Chief Distribution Officer. In that role, he was responsible for the strategic oversight and distribution of CuriosityStream across all global platforms, executing prominent deals with MVPDs, Smart TV manufacturers and streaming media service providers. Stinchcomb is an entrepreneurial executive with over 25 years of traditional and digital media experience. Leveraging a broad range of global roles in television and digital programming, production, content development, consumer marketing, operations, advertising sales, and network distribution, he has played a critical role in the launches and successful growth of several television networks, content franchises and enthusiast brands. He has held positions including CEO and co-founder of Poker Central, Managing Director of Worldwide Media Group, EVP and GM of Discovery Communications' Emerging Television Networks, and SVP of Discovery's New Media Operations and HDTV.
