Counselors shall operate in accordance with the policies and procedures determined by the Board of Directors and as implemented by his/her supervisor(s) and all parties shall abide by all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Counselors will need to specifically abide by the Kansas Department of Aging & Disability Services, Community Services & Programs Division standards (standards for licensure/certification of alcohol & other drug abuse treatment programs). The duties of this position include curricula development and implementation, psychoeducational presentations, individual counseling, group counseling, case management activities and all related paperwork demands. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain communication with referral sources Dialogue with local referral sources in order to keep them apprised of their clients performance in treatment when requested. Create the curricula and design the treatment plans for the clients. Provide group/individual/family counseling for clients in both residential and outpatient treatment settings. Provide individual counseling for clients and assist in the identification and resolution of problems, behaviors, or cognition which prevent or interfere with clients reaching of their treatment goals or positive outcomes. Maintain treatment related paperwork such as treatment plans, evaluations, discharge summaries, CIF forms, program evaluation forms, within our electronic client record, etc. Complete all paperwork and record-keeping on a timely (daily) basis to support complete and accurate billing for services rendered. Must attend and participate in required staff meetings and supervision meetings Assist immediate supervisors with coverage related issues when necessary. Provide psychoeducational groups and learning experiences geared to meet the client's level of understanding. These should be focused on addiction related topics, stress management, nutrition, ADIS, (ways to change) criminal thinking, etc... Assist in the collection of client fees (as necessary for the assigned program) as it directly impacts the relationship between the client and Mirror Inc. Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by their immediate supervisors. Qualifications *******************************************************************$4,000 Bonus**************************************************************** Graduate of a four-year accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, substance abuse counseling or a closely related field is required. Master's degree matching one of the aforementioned professions is preferred. Be licensed at the masters level to provide psychotherapy services OR be a licensed Addictions Counselor, in the State of Kansas. Certification to deliver SB 123 services and assessments desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills required as well as ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Capable of maintaining a team spirit. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Must be adaptable to change and have effective organizational skills. Must be able to organize and follow through on multiple tasks. Display consistent, good judgement and decision-making skills. Knowledge in the disease of addiction and the various modes of treatment. Experience working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system and individuals with personality disorders, preferred. Experience providing telehealth services is preferred. The ability to ensure consistent internet connectivity and privacy to provide quality services as required by HIPAA and 42-CFR Part 2 when providing telehealth. Ability to establish and maintain rapport with the resistive, chemically dependent client. Must be able to pass security check. Employees who have been diagnosed with any type of substance use disorder or behavioral addiction/compulsion must have sustained a minimum of two consecutive years of abstinence from all intoxicating substances and symptoms of their chemical and/or behavioral addiction; and must be in full sustained remission. Must have proficient computer skills or experience and/or skills working with an Electronic Health Record. Since the science of addiction is rapidly evolving counseling staff must have a through working knowledge of the disease of addiction and the various modes of treatment. Must be able to adapt to and implement changing treatment models and techniques. This position may also involve bending, walking stairs and lifting up to 40 pounds on occasion.

    has an anticipated start date of 03/30/26*** Under the supervision of the Mirror Director of Federal Programs, the Residential Reentry Center (RRC) Case Manager shall be responsible for the programs and services provided to the federal residents served at the designated RRC location (Topeka or Wichita). The Mirror RRC Case Manager shall operate in an ethical, professional manner, interact with others in such a fashion as to create and maintain respect for the agency and the United States Government, Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons. They shall be intimately familiar with the Statement of Work and the contractual provisions set forth in the agreement with BOP. They shall also act in accordance with the policies determined by the Board of Directors and shall abide by all applicable federal, state and local regulations. The duties of this position include written and verbal communication with referral sources and other professionals, teamwork with other staff, residents and community partners, referrals to community-based services, resident engagement and interaction, responsivity to resident, agency and funder needs and security and accountability measures. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Communication: Maintain communication in both written and verbal forums within Mirror and with referral agencies, community partners, other professionals. Ensure the written and verbal communications are accurate and include proof-reading and grammar checks before they are relayed to others. Relay messages in a manner consistent with PRT and the objectives of the agency. 2. Teamwork: Works assigned schedule; collaborates with others; engages community partners to foster the growth of residents. 3. Referrals: Ensures residents are referred for services based on RNR, to include risks identified by USPO, BOP, resident, experience of the CM, and currently accepted risk tools. 4. Responsivity: Available for on-call duties, timely completion of terminal reports, IPP, case notes, responds in a timely manner to requests by EPS, BOP, USPO, Mirror leadership and RRC residents. 6. Security and Accountability: Monitors resident itineraries, writes Incident Reports when applicable, engages residents in a firm/fair/consistent manner, conducts employment and residence checks and performs other security functions as necessary. 7. It is the responsibility of the case managers to develop and coordinate reentry programs to ensure continuity of care for the resident and facilitate services for residents with special needs (e.g., sex offenders, significant medical and mental health issues, drug and alcohol use, and specialized female resident programming). This coordination will include consultation with the CTS providers and included in PRT. 8. Attend and participate in all staff meetings. 9. Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by the site Director. Qualifications 1. Graduate of a four-year accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in a social or behavioral science area of study which might include but not be limited to the following degrees: criminal justice, corrections counseling, social work, sociology, psychology, substance abuse counseling or another closely related field of study is preferred. 2.
