Job Pays: $22-$25/hr. with experience NATURE OF WORK The Traffic Signal Installer will be responsible for installation of signal equipment to include trench, conduit, various concrete foundations, pulling of signal cable and building and erection of mast poles and arms as well as span intersections (temporary and permanent installations). This position travels to different locations through Virginia for welding & pipe rehabilitation projects. This position will incorporate the duties of a welder, as well as a general laborer. This position will often require additional tasks such as installing silt fence, sand bag filling, sheet pile installation, and removing debris from existing pipe. The Superintendent manages the daily site activities for Foundations projects by ensuring the project is constructed in accordance with safety, design, budget, and schedule. The Superintendent directly manages the personnel and craft on each project site. Responsibilities: * Daily contact with job site crews to ensure project time schedule and workforce needs are being met. * Schedules subcontractors to complete work as needed.
