We are looking for a Project Pursuit Manager to joining our Farris team! The Project Pursuit Manager is responsible for playing a strategic role in driving revenue growth, managing high-value accounts, and shaping strategic market penetration efforts. With a strong foundation in solution selling, relationship management, and market strategy, this role conducts complex sales pursuits with EPCs (Engineering / Procurement / Construction) contractors for their assigned territory or domain.

YOUR CHALLENGE:
+ Develop and execute sales strategies to meet growth expectations by the development of new markets, product gaps for future account growth opportunities and products. Partner with executive leadership to define and monitor territory or domain-specific KPIs and sales targets.
+ Prepare and manage the annual budget and forecast. Coordinate monthly input to the forecasting process including Input Forecast, Output Forecast, and 3-month Target List. Produce monthly management report containing details of sales activity including major quotations, new leads, top twenty sales prospects, order intake, market trends and visit plans for the coming month. Provide marketing information as to customer requirements, regional trends, competitors, etc.
+ Manage and attend trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences. Drive pipeline growth through proactive customer engagement, demand generation and bid strategy alignment. Maintain a deep understanding of the complete range of products in terms of functionality, pricing, market position, and competitiveness.
+ Lead and develop a team of sales professionals. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development. Ensure that Sales Managers are equipped to respond to customer requests in terms of product literature, presentations, demonstration equipment, etc. Produce annual travel and sales plans, provides regular updates, and approves expense reports. Conduct monthly sales meetings and annual appraisals for the Sales team.
+ Oversee the preparation of proposals, quotations, and bids. Collaborate with Contracts, Legal and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely response to RFPs and RFQs. Work with the Production department to ensure that customer requirements are satisfied correctly and on time.
WHAT YOU BRING:
+ Progressive sales or account management experience, preferably in the Industrial Valves industry.
+ Demonstrated success leading major sales pursuits with OEMs, VARs and key customers.
+ 6+ years of experience in a similar role
+ Proven success in closing complex B2B sales and managing long-cycle opportunities.
+ Exceptional negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability and foster collaboration across functions.
+ Proficient in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
+ Willingness to travel to support sales activities and client engagements.

Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment.

Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.
Stage completed pallets in designated areas.
Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering is required; additional education a plus
5+ year's professional experience in automation projects
Experience with Power Electronics is required

Familiar with tools and systems for managing internal and external data with proper process management, facilitating informed decisions to different parties, and enhancing operational excellence.

This role leads critical job site meetings, builds strong relationships with contractors and design firms, and ensures projects stay on track from start to finish. By providing training, reviewing specifications, and leveraging Hilti software for accurate project tracking, the Division Project Manager helps teams capitalize on high-potential opportunities and deliver exceptional results.
What You'll do
Provide project support by coordinating with territory salesperson, strategic business personnel, sales managers, contractors, designers, specifiers, and officials of codes and approvals
Communicate with customers (buying and non-buying)
Visit jobsite with salespeople, field engineers, fire protection specialists, or strategic business personnel to assess application problems and opportunities
Conduct monthly meetings to provide training on converting specifications to sales and on selling to the jobsite; increase the sales and technical competence of the salesforce
Make joint site calls to engineering and other technical personnel, group site seminars, and contractors and other construction professionals
Convert specifications and approvals for use of Hilti products into sales, concentrating on high potential projects
Review project specifications and blueprints and assist the salesforce in providing quotations on specified products and submitting alternates to non-Hilti specifications

What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree, required; focus in engineering preferred
Four (4) years' experience in engineering or related technical sales, key account management, or field sales
E.I.T. (Engineer-In Training), preferred
Demonstrated understanding of construction methods, interconnectedness of project team, and local building codes as related to Hilti products
Superior selling skills and ability to lead entire Hilti team through to completion of project
Strong organizational skills: must be able to organize all projects, track successes, and bring these successes to the next project
Experience using Microsoft Suite, SAP, and Hilti PROFIS
