Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Dust and clean furniture, walls, machines, or equipment. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Steam clean or shampoo carpets. Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks. Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, or parking areas using appropriate tools/equipment or by spreading snow melting chemicals. Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours, setting alarm systems, or checking to ensure that hazards are not created that may result in injury to others. Set up and arrange furniture, staging, or other equipment to prepare facilities for school events. Make adjustments to heating and cooling systems. Drive school vehicles as required to travel to or to perform cleaning work. Report to the proper authorities any cases of suspected child endangerment, neglect, or abuse. Report suspected bullying to building principal or designee as required by Arkansas law and district policies. Adhere to all policies of the District.
