A Janitor is responsible for performing custodial services in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a safe and sanitary manner. Will perform a full range of custodial duties related to the care, maintenance and cleaning of all assigned buildings and facilities within the government contract to include both routine maintenance as well as non-routine assignments. 2nd Shift: Tues-Sat, 3:30PM-12AM Performs and coordinates GMP cleaning and Sanitization of process areas on the manufacturing floor as assigned related to the manufacturing of bulk drug substance in a multi-product facility. Responsible for cleaning, sanitization of small parts and hoses used in the manufacturing process. Performs duties under limited supervision and according to standard operating and manufacturing procedures. Documents work according to cGMP and cGDP. About The Custodial Relief Program The Recreation and Park Department's Custodial Relief Program is a pool of on-call custodians who will temporarily fill in throughout the department's citywide facilities in cases of vacation, illness and other leaves. Employees in this program may work on average between 12 - 16 hours per week, and are expected to maintain availability from 4:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. for at least four (4) consecutive days in the week to meet the needs of the department. Certificate of completion of a Custodial Training Program equivalent to the City College of San Francisco Custodial Training program; OR 3. The SOMA Rise program participants are 18 and over adults who are under the influence of substances and need short term assistance and support. The team works to engage participants in health resources, however great or small. The SOMA Rise program will operate a 24-hour, welcoming, compassionate, trauma-informed, culturally attuned, and user-responsive space that focuses on the principles of harm reduction. Alongside providing a safe, comfortable space for clients, our emphasis is on supporting people at increased risk of substance use-related high-risk behaviors and trauma, homelessness, and death due to overdose. Priority will be given to clients' safety, and all staff will be trained in OD Prevention, Recognition, Response and Narcan Administration. Custodians in SOMA Rise Services are responsible for ensuring that all janitorial duties are performed in a timely manner, and that the site is well maintained. Duties should be carried out thoughtfully, with a minimum disruption to services, staff and participants while ensuring compliance to COVID-19 safety protocols. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct Service Responsibilities: Under limited supervision, perform daily housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance reporting for program. May assist in responding to crises (e.g. conflict) and overdose with crisis de-escalation interventions and Narcan. Chaperone on-site food service and other onsite services. Along with the team, take ownership to ensure the overall quality of customer and health services at program. MiraCosta College is building a pool of substitute custodians.
