There are many different tasks in this position, but it most closely resembles a mover and moving truck driver. The main difference is that you are moving the damaged/dirty contents of buildings that have had a flood or fire to our warehouse (pack out) and after the property is repaired, moving the cleaned items back (pack back). You will also be involved in the restoration of these contents. That process involves everything from hands on cleaning to deodorization. Customer service is a big part of this position. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to drive or learn to drive a large box truck
Physical ability to work in a moving industry environment (lifting, squatting, packing, carrying boxes, etc.) in all types of weather.

Position Overview
This position is responsible for the cleaning and sanitation work of the University, or on special projects. Those who work an overnight shift may earn addition compensation. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Sweeps, mops, scrubs, strips, waxes, and buffs floors, hallways, and stairways and cleans and vacuums, carpets and rugs. Cleans and dusts furniture, walls, ceilings, windows, windowsills, woodwork, and other building surfaces. Cleans and sanitizes rest rooms, baths, commodes, urinals, lavatories, drinking fountains, and other fixtures. Picks up and removes trash and other waste from building and cleans waste receptacles and transports recyclable materials to drop off point on a scheduled basis. General Cleaner Job Description:
This is a full-time position. We are seeking a dependable, reliable, self-motivated person. You will be working with minor supervision. Your responsibility is to ensure cleanliness and tidiness, and hygiene is up standards. Our locations are open 24 hours, 7 days a week, the cleaning window is from 10:00pm to 10:00am Monday to Friday. You will be cleaning at least two locations per night. Your role is crucial in maintaining aesthetic appeal and health standards. Your area of responsibility will include our Richardson, Rowlett, Addison, and Mesquite facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning services to keep the facility clean.
Clean and sanitize rooms, workstations, restrooms/showers, breakroom/eating area and restock paper and soap supplies.
Clean/wipe and dust off furnishing, fixtures, air vents, walls.
Clean windows/mirrors and other glass surfaces.
Clean floors, including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping.
Waste/Trash disposal.
Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Manage cleaning supplies.
Provide excellent customer service
Inspect spaces for cleanliness and report facility issues, damage/broken items and potential hazards.
Follow cleaning schedule.
Communicate effectively with team members ensuring all specific requests are met.
Work with a work order system
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience (2 plus years).
Excellent time management skills and reliability.
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering results.
Must be able to perform cleaning duties to Surepoint Emergency Center standards
Must be dependable, reliable and ability to work without direct supervision
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Must be at least 18 years of age or a high school graduate
Experience with ticketing system a plus but not required
Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and materials used.
Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, bend, and lift to 30 lbs.
Must always maintain a valid state Driver's License
Must always maintain a working vehicle and current automobile insurance
You must be willing to drive to multiple locations.
Team player with a strong work ethic and ability to interact with a variety of people and personality types.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to some chemical hazards as described in materials safety data sheets and in accordance with OSHA standards.
