The Facilities - Custodian will follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds. Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies and chemicals according to manufacturer recommendations and established cleaning routines. Ability to follow protocols for infection prevention including flu and covid. This is a full-time hourly position and will require up to 40 hours per week. Assist with set-ups, including arranging tables and chairs. Assist with laundry of table clothes and towels. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure students and staff's comfort, health, and safety. Make minor building repairs as needed and report major repair needs to the supervisor. Move furniture or equipment within the building as directed by Oaks Staff and Shift Supervisor. Assist in setting up facilities for special events. Utilize task management systems to track and complete tasks efficiently. Assist with opening and closing the building each school day, ensuring that all exit doors are open and all hardware works correctly during building occupancy hours.
