Primary Responsibilities: Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the dining hall, with a primary focus on cleaning and sanitizing immediately following the last lunch period each day. Dining Hall & First Floor Maintenance: Sweep and mop hard flooring surfaces daily. Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and common seating areas. Empty all trash and recycling bins, replacing liners as needed. Clean and restock restrooms, ensuring all dispensers are filled. Second Floor Facilities: Dust-mop and wet-mop hard floors; vacuum all carpeted areas. Clean and sanitize offices, classrooms, and conference rooms. Maintain common areas and hallways to ensure they are free of debris. Clean restrooms and high-touch surfaces (door handles, light switches). Other Duties: Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities and Grounds to ensure the effective operation of the facility and campus. Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Frequently lift equipment and materials weighing 50 pounds or more. Crawl, climb ladders, twist, turn and reach in completing a variety of job duties. Work outside in hot or cold conditions for extended periods of time. Work in a wide variety of environments as found in all areas of the school. Qualifications: At least 1 year of facilities and/or custodial experience in a school setting (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass a BCI & FBI background check Benefits.
