Dust and clean display bulletin boards, furniture, woodwork, fixtures, windows, window blinds and other equipment. Stock and maintain supplies in restrooms and other assigned areas. Vacuum and spot-clean carpets. Empty and clean waste receptacles and dispose of trash appropriately. Maintain outside areas including sweeping or washing sidewalks and walkways and picking up debris from the perimeter of the buildings. Perform routine maintenance on custodial equipment. Disinfecting and sanitizing bathrooms, office and classrooms as directed. Perform general maintenance functions to include: Replace incandescent and fluorescent light bulbs. Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and buff tile floors. Ensure proper care in the use of maintenance and power equipment. Spray offices/classrooms/labs with insect repellant as needed. Keep storage areas neat and orderly. Process maintenance requests as assigned Assist in moving equipment and furniture. Assist with cleaning, set-up, and facility preparation for special meetings or events, to include moving/arranging furniture and equipment.
