SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The incumbent in this position is responsible for, but not limited to the following: Sweeps, mops, or vacuums all floor areas moving furniture and equipment, as necessary. Dusts, cleans, and disinfects all surface areas, furniture, household appliances and floors. Cleans windows and window screens. Maintains the outside of the building in a presentable manner by sweeping and cleaning the walkways, as necessary. Cleans and sanitizes all bathroom areas. Restocks the paper products (toilet tissue and paper towel). Empties trash cans daily and replace with a clean liner. Ensure soap dispensers are filled. Attends training and in-service training as required. Maintains compliance as trained on infection control regulations and procedures including but not limited to the handling of biohazardous waste. Ensures supply closet is stocked with necessary cleaning products; replace items that have been depleted.
