SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The incumbent in this position is responsible for, but not limited to the following: Sweeps, mops, or vacuums all floor areas moving furniture and equipment, as necessary. Dusts, cleans, and disinfects all surface areas, furniture, household appliances and floors. Cleans windows and window screens. Maintains the outside of the building in a presentable manner by sweeping and cleaning the walkways, as necessary. Cleans and sanitizes all bathroom areas. Restocks the paper products (toilet tissue and paper towel). Empties trash cans daily and replace with a clean liner. Ensure soap dispensers are filled. Attends training and in-service training as required. Maintains compliance as trained on infection control regulations and procedures including but not limited to the handling of biohazardous waste. Ensures supply closet is stocked with necessary cleaning products; replace items that have been depleted. Assist with relocation of resident belongings as needed and movement of furniture/equipment at Tacachale Performs other related duties as required. POSITION REQUIREMENTS * A valid Florida Driver's License. * If hired with an out-of-state license a valid Florida State driver's license must be obtained within 30 days. * Corrective Lenses Restricted license are acceptable provided the driver wears the corrective lenses while operating a state vehicle. * Must be willing to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency. * Must be able to lift up to 40lbs with or without accommodations. * Must have the ability to read and follow written or verbal instructions.
