Under the general direction and supervision of the Superintendent, Physical Plant, the Custodian I is responsible for routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and other custodial tasks in and around campus buildings and other facilities. Under the general direction and supervision of the Superintendent, Physical Plant, the Custodian is responsible for cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness both inside and outside of areas assigned, and for the removal of waste collected. Regular work for this part-time position is 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This is a part-time regular position. Clean All Aspects of the Assigned Area Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, trash receptacles, and mop restroom floors. Clean and fill toilet paper and paper towel dispensers. Clean mirrors, handrails, floors, glass doors, windows, window ledges, file cabinets, blinds, shelves, tables, chairs, dry-erase boards, ceilings, diffusers, and air ducts. Vacuum, empty trash cans, and replace liners. Secure Area Assure all doors are locked and lights turned off before leaving the area. Assist with Room Set-Ups Transport tables and chairs for classroom/area set-ups and return them to storage after events. Install floor coverings in the gym.
