    As the Custodian, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks at CWC. Duties include, but are not limited to, operating automatic cleaning equipment, such as automatic scrubbers, sweepers, and wall washers, wet/dry vacuums, and carpet cleaning equipment; stripping and sealing of floors; cleaning of toilets, showers and furniture; shoveling snow; and replacing light bulbs. Salary Information The starting salary is $16.67 per hour, plus excellent benefits. There is a $.80 night differential and a $.80 weekend differential, which will be combined for $1.60 when working nights on weekends. A 12-month probationary period is required. Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. These positions are in pay schedule and range 03/08. A $3,000 sign-on bonus applies to those who do not have prior state service in the last five years; who stay with CWC in the position until completing probation. Bonus will be split, $1,500 upon hire and $1,500 after completing probation.
