About the Role:
A Cleaning Technician's primary focus is to clean and restore our customer's personal property and belongings (contents) back to a pre-loss condition from damage sources such as water, fire, smoke, storms, or other disasters. The Contents/Cleaning Team is often the first team to respond in the process by arriving on site to document what is salvageable and non-salvageable (trash) and pack-out the belongings. Salvageable belongings are then inventoried, cleaned, and stored in boxes and crates in a climate-controlled facility until the pack-back (returning of personal belongings) is scheduled to take place.
In addition, a Cleaning Technician works at different jobsites to clean structures such as walls and ceilings of a home or business to remove soot from a fire or other debris and works closely with the Project Manager for post construction cleans (i.e. cleaning of drywall dust, construction debris, etc.). Other opportunities in this role include general property cleaning when scheduled.
As a Cleaning Technician, your time will be spent both at the shop as well as at specific jobsite locations (residential and commercial). You will learn many different specialty techniques within the department and will not get bored with the many jobs we obtain.

Hours Include: A rotating shift of 9:30 am - 6:00 pm for one week, and 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm for two weeks
Purpose Statement
The Custodian II ensures a clean, safe, and inviting environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role involves performing routine and special cleaning operations, assisting with facility preparation for events, and contributing to overall site maintenance.
Supervisory Relationship
Reports to: Head Custodian
Essential Functions
Snow and Ice Removal: Ensure safe access by salting, sanding, and clearing sidewalks.
Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, offices, restrooms, and other areas, especially during illness outbreaks.
Material Delivery: Distribute supplies, mail, and packages within the site.
Communication: Provide information and direction to students and staff regarding maintenance and safety.
Monitoring: Supervise areas to ensure safety and prevent injuries.
Summer Maintenance: Assist with deep cleaning, floor stripping/waxing, furniture moving, painting, and carpet cleaning.
Daily Preparation: Prepare the site for daily operations and special events.
Supply Management: Ensure restrooms and classrooms are stocked with necessary supplies.

About the Role:
A Cleaning Technician's primary focus is to clean and restore our customer's personal property and belongings (contents) back to a pre-loss condition from damage sources such as water, fire, smoke, storms, or other disasters. This is done through the hard work of our team of professionals as well as state of the art technology and chemicals that help clean, eliminate odors, removes stains, and restore personal belongings. The Contents/Cleaning Team is often the first team to respond in the process by arriving on site to document what is salvageable and non-salvageable (trash) and pack-out the belongings. Salvageable belongings are then inventoried, cleaned, and stored in boxes and crates in a climate-controlled facility until the pack-back (returning of personal belongings) is scheduled to take place.
In addition, a Cleaning Technician works at different jobsites to clean structures such as walls and ceilings of a home or business to remove soot from a fire or other debris and works closely with the Project Manager for post construction cleans (i.e. cleaning of drywall dust, construction debris, etc.). Other opportunities in this role include general property cleaning when scheduled.
As a Cleaning Technician, your time will be spent both at the shop as well as at specific jobsite locations (residential and commercial). You will learn many different specialty techniques within the department and will not get bored with the many jobs we obtain.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Inspecting, sorting, documenting, and packing of personal property (contents) from fire or water damaged properties.
Packing-out salvageable personal property, ensuring no damage during loading and transport.
Cleaning and inventorying of personal property.

Wrapping of furniture or other larger items
Returning contents to location as per customer request (pack-in)

Experience, Skills, and Others:
1 year + of cleaning and/or moving experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
