A day in the life:
A Cleaner is responsible for basic cleaning, including cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trashing, dusting, polishing, and other assigned items/areas. We have multiple shifts available as well as both full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.
What you'll do as an Exceptional Team Member
Responsible for all basic cleaning
Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly
Cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
Performs additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns

Essential Job Functions
Clean locker room surfaces in fitness center including toilets, showers, etc.
Replenish supplies such as soap and paper products
Collect and empty trash throughout fitness center
Sweep and mop floors of all walking areas
Vacuum upstairs cardio deck and main fitness floor
Attend to all spills in a timely manner to maintain safety
Clean and wipe down fitness cardio and weight machines
Pick up loose trash on all surfaces of the fitness center
Use variety of chemicals to sanitize fitness center surfaces
Attend to blood or bodily fluid spills when needed
Assist with laundering Fitness Center towels
All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
Must have dependable transportation to and from work
Previous cleaning experience
Preferred Qualifications
A positive and friendly attitude towards guest, customers, and fellow employees
Must be able to follow directions both written and verbally
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Working Conditions
Physical requirements necessary include walking, standing, bending, and lifting
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must be able to work both indoor and outdoor in all weather conditions
