Under the direction of the Associate Director, Custodial Services, the custodian will provide various custodian and housekeeping support services for on and off Housing, Residential Life & Auxiliaries (HRLAs) complexes. The incumbent will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned building, floors, facilities, foyers, stairwells, including but not limited to cleaning student rooms, common areas, lounges, kitchens and hallways; clean and disinfect bathrooms; strip and wax floors; clean windows; move furniture from one area to another; wash concrete areas outside of the buildings, execute the delivery and pickup of guest-requested items to and from guest rooms, maintain carts and manage constant supply of clean linens for Summer Conference programs, ensuring closets are fully stocked and remove trash and dirty linens including cleaning and care of flooring (e.g. carpet, tile, etc.) high dusting, edging, scrubbing, cleaning of desks, and perform other related duties as required.
Tasks are expected to be performed in accordance with HRLAs expectations of quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Perform Regular Custodial Duties: Incumbent will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned building, floors, facilities, foyers, stairwells, including but not limited to cleaning student rooms, common areas, lounges, kitchens and hallways; clean and disinfect bathrooms; strip and wax floors; clean windows; move furniture from one area to another; wash concrete areas outside of the buildings.

Skill in operating a variety of industrial and or custodial equipment including buffers, waxers, scrubbers, polishers, mop, brooms, and or vacuum cleaners required. Ability to properly use and monitor supply of equipment and supplies, required. Working knowledge of carpet and floor care techniques, can be trained. Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs., required. Ability to work independently or with others as directed or assigned, required. Ability to work overtime, holidays, evenings, or weekends as assigned in order to meet operational needs. Ability to perform various custodial duties that involve walking, standing, climbing stairs and ladders, stooping and crouching. Ability to maintain proper inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, amenities and other items.

* Stock and clean supply rooms and service carts. All areas where custodial items are kept are expected to be organized and tidy. Assist in the delivery of campus custodial supplies.
* Assist in on-the-job training of new staff on routine procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO
Based out of Rocket Headquarters in Long Beach, CA the Precision Cleaning Technician is responsible for cleaning machined flight hardware components and assemblies.
All major components of the Rutherford rocket engine are 3D printed including; thrust chamber, injectors, main valves and pump parts. Remaining parts are machined from raw material or procured externally.
Position requires a high-level of attention to detail.
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO
Based out of Rocket Headquarters in Long Beach, CA the Precision Cleaning Technician is responsible for cleaning machined flight hardware components and assemblies.
All major components of the Rutherford rocket engine are 3D printed including; thrust chamber, injectors, main valves and pump parts. Remaining parts are machined from raw material or procured externally.
Position requires a high-level of attention to detail.
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as the Lead Custodian. The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to inclusivity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.
The Lead Custodian provides leadership, supervision, and hands-on support to custodial staff to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents and guests. Responsibilities include training staff, scheduling assignments, motivating and guiding team members, and addressing resident and guest concerns. Oversees inventory management, equipment readiness, and supply procurement, while performing custodial duties as needed, particularly during staff absences. Additional, duties include assisting with administrative tasks such as timesheet management, work order review, compliance with safety training, and maintaining Safety Data Sheet (SDS) files. May support special projects, campus events, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
One to two years of related custodial experience which has provided the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities and has included providing on-the-job training and leadership to others. Demonstrated working knowledge of the methods, materials, chemicals, and equipment used in custodial work and of the safety and sanitation practices and measures required. Working knowledge of effective lead and supervisory practices and techniques. Ability to provide lead work direction, including training others on proper work methods and safety and providing feedback on work performance. Ability to read and write in English at a level appropriate for the duties of the position. Ability to use computers to track work orders and order supplies and materials. Ability to establish, promote, and maintain cooperative work relationships with others. Ability to analyze situations and take appropriate action.

CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information.
