4. Drive a City owned vehicle to deliver supplies to facilities, able to lift 50+ lbs.
5. Vacuum and extract carpet using an industrial type vacuum to remove dirt and debris from the nap of the carpet.
6. Clean, buff, strip, and wax resilient floors (terrazzo tile, VCT, Ceramic, etc.) to remove dirt, debris and residue. Cleaning involves, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing.
7. Dust furniture, file cabinets, shelves, woodwork, and similar items, with a treated cloth to remove dust.
8. Wash windows, sills, blinds, etc., to remove dirt and dust.
9. Empty trash and recycle material, removing it from the facility to outside receptacle or dumpster.
10. Clean rest room fixtures, walls and floors with a germicidal disinfectant to remove bacterial germs and odors.
11. Polish furniture and brass with a treated cloth and polish to create a glossy, non-oily appearance.
12. Clean vents, light fixtures, and other high areas. May require use of a ladder.
13. Open and unlock city buildings before working hours.
14. Set-up and ensure meeting areas are properly prepared for scheduled events.
15. Any other duties as assigned by your Supervisor.
