Job Description
We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Floater. We are commercial cleaners looking for a cleaning specialist who will exceed client expectations, ensuring that all bathrooms are sparkling, floors are spotless and trash is removed on schedule. We hope you're ready to grab a buffer and help us out.
Detail-oriented, flexible
Maintaining a sanitary environment in compliance with OSHA's standards on Bloodborne
Pathogens (29 CFR 1910.1030 ), including proper disposal of regulated waste,
Adhering to CDC, EPA, and OSHA guidelines related to routine disinfection for COVID-19 and
other infectious diseases
Fill in for absent general cleaners at all job sites
Perform general cleaning duties including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, vacuuming, floor buffing, etc.
Perform technical cleaning jobs including high-speed burnishing, stripping, refinishing floors, carpet cleaning and window cleaning.
Must be flexible enough to perform multiple tasks at all job sites unaided
Document and report supply inventory as needed
Document and report staff activity as needed
Perform proper care maintenance on cleaning equipment.
Must maintain an overall clean appearance on all equipment and supplies
Drive company van to each job site
Use leadership skills to supervise job sites, staff, and job completion
Ensure jobs are completed on time and with great quality
Available to work night shift and weekends as well as various hours as needed depending on work schedule.
Valid NC driver's license is REQUIRED.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a school environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely operate vacuum cleaners, carpet extracting machine, buffers, brooms, mops, small hand tools, etc. The position, at times, must be able to come into direct contact with school system staff, contractors, students, parents, and community members that might use school facilities. Work is considered medium physical work, requiring the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Work involves pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders, maneuvering in confined spaces, and prolonged standing and walking. Work may involve exposure to extreme temperatures and smells commonly associated with schools in general. Some work will be outdoor work, potentially in inclement weather.
