A day in the life:
A Cleaner is responsible for basic cleaning, including cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trashing, dusting, polishing, and other assigned items/areas. Performance Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this position are in addition to those listed in the employee's primary Job Description. Under general supervision of the Facilities Operations Manager, the Head Custodian oversees daily operation of the building to which he/she is assigned. This includes the coordination of work schedules and resources to allow the custodial staff to meet the needs of the building staff on any particular day. SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
En Route Cleaners (ERC) must be detailed oriented personnel who can follow direction and procedures. ERC are responsible for the cleaning trainsets while the trains are in transit (moving) between station stops. Primary responsibility for en route cleaners will be cleaning the restrooms with secondary responsibility to the rest of the train. The ERC shall perform the duties including but not limited to mopping, surface cleaning, and bathroom services. The ERC must be punctual, work well alone and at a fast pace.

Work is mutually mental and physical. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is required to bend at the waist, push, pull, move, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, twist/turn, climb ladders, shovel snow, seek to assure proper and complete cleaning, and use dexterity of hands and fingers to operate power cleaning equipment.

Overview
The Custodian is responsible for ensuring Mullins Center meets or exceeds standards of cleanliness to the utmost in guest satisfaction before, during, and after all events. This role must aid in the oversight of all custodial work.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.00

Responsibilities
Arrives for each scheduled shift on time, and ready to work.
Ability to work morning, afternoon and/or overnight shifts including weekends and holidays.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand on feet for up to 8 hours at a time, to kneel, stoop, climb stairs and reach above head as well as perform repetitive motions in connection with cleaning tasks.
Ability to follow verbal instructions and read written instructions especially as relates to cleaning products and SDS.
Performs light and heavy cleaning tasks including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and disposing of garbage.
Restocks restrooms with supplies.
Works safely, quickly and efficiently to meet all deadlines.
Maintains a positive, outgoing demeanor and acknowledges guests in a friendly manner.
Other duties as assigned.
