Parker Hannifin Pre-Bonding Associate - 2nd Shift Dayton, OH Noise, Vibration, and Harshness Division Engineered Materials Group Parker Lord's Dayton facility manufactures passive vibration mounts for commercial and military aerospace applications. Essential Job Functions * Read, interpret and follow manufacturing documentation including prints and routers to ensure the production of conforming products * Sets up and operates manual and automated equipment for chemical processing, media blasting, cleaning, priming, adhesive application and other related preparation activities * Performs cleaning of product as necessary * Completes necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and the proper movement and control of product * Ensures all equipment and materials used to perform job functions are compliant to procedures * Proactively improves area processes, procedures and documentation through Kaizen activities and collaboration with area leadership and Engineering * Responsible for the proper storage and disposition of hazardous waste * Performs all required preventative maintenance activities * Aid in preparation for and participates in all required area audits * Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures * Other assignments as required Qualifications * Willingness to work 2nd shift * Able to communicate effectively with management, and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork * Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed * Must be dependable and available to work overtime when required * Understands and demonstrates comprehension of drawings, blueprints and Manufacturing Work Instructions * Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook * Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision * Ability to carry/ lift up to 35 lbs. (50% of the time). Must have the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment.
