Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Daily management: o Welds and repairs ladles. o Performs daily checks of ladle pour position and helps in improvement. o Welds and helps repair machine and sleeve bushings. o Performs inventory of all die change supplies and work with Division Leader to order as needed. o Communicates with and coordinates information flow with other divisions and departments pertaining to parts quality issues within assigned production area(s). o Promotes and participates in 5S audits to improve overall 5S in division. o Participates in die and trim press die changes as need as back up. o Participate in the troubleshooting and repair of any production equipment problems to assure meeting production schedules. o Comply with Safety Procedures on the floor. o Works under the supervision of the Division Leader to complete training in order to meet all production, maintenance, safety, quality, and other required skills/knowledge as well as providing ongoing training to continually level up their skills. Education/Experience/Training (minimum required):  Must have understanding of the die casting processes, die casting machines, and ancillary equipment; and no less than 6 months of progressively responsible die casting operation.  Must have basic verbal and written communication skills; basic organizational skills; basic computer skills to work in spreadsheets, graphs, and word processing for preparing reports; good problem-solving skills.  Weld experience preferred but can train the right candidate.
