There are many key differences between these two careers as shown by resumes from each profession. Some of those differences include the skills required to complete responsibilities within each role. As an example of this, a customer sales representative is likely to be skilled in "customer sales," "excellent interpersonal," "golf courses," and "social media marketing," while a typical customer service specialist is skilled in "strong customer service," "front end," "cash management," and "customer transactions."
Interestingly enough, customer service specialists earn the most pay in the finance industry, where they command an average salary of $34,860. As mentioned previously, customer sales representatives highest annual salary comes from the finance industry with an average salary of $38,373.
When it comes to education, customer service specialists tend to earn similar education levels than customer sales representatives. In fact, they're 0.4% more likely to earn a Master's Degree, and 0.1% more likely to graduate with a Doctoral Degree.
