Show Services Divers assist the entire Entertainment Division with delivery of supplies and backstage support for entertainment costuming, parades, and shows. They also provide transportation for Cast Members and Media to locations throughout the Disneyland Resort and Southern California.

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. You may be scheduled a graveyard shift. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.

Role Responsibilites:


The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Jet Rod / Vac technicians on their route by providing technical support.


Essential Functions


  • Drive and operate company trucks and equipment including, but not limited to the Jet Vac.
  • Service various customer needs through the use of company equipment.
  • Complete paperwork related to the work and DOT regulations.
  • Interact with customers to ensure the work is completed to their satisfaction.
  • Communicate with office personnel regarding obstacles, needs and customer interaction.
  • Document any changes to the scope of work or additional instructions to be added to the customer's profile.
  • Troubleshoot issues pertaining to the equipment and scope of work.
  • Perform Confined Space Entry.
  • Assist with site and equipment set-up and breakdown.
  • Perform start/end of day procedures including restocking equipment and supplies and truck maintenance.
  • Obey all safety rules Become familiar with, and ensure safe work practices
  • Report all accidents, injuries and near misses, and cooperate with investigations to identify root causes and prevent reoccurrences.
  • Submit suggestions for accident prevention and leads for new work.
  • Perform start / end of day procedures (paperwork, restocking supplies, VIR).
  • Perform the work of Jet Vac Operator in the operator's absence.
  • Accept additional duties and responsibilities as required.


Qualifications


  • Ability to read a map.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • Ability to understand DOT requirements and regulations
  • Availability for a significant amount of overtime during peak periods.
  • Verbal and written communication skills CDL Class A or B Tanker and Air Brake endorsement
  • Clean Driving Record DOT medical card

  • Use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects tools or controls

  • Able to walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion

  • Lift up to 40lbs from your waits to your shoulders
  • Lift 30lbs from the floor to your head
  • Crouch and squat
  • Push 100lbs and pull 100lbs horizontally
