About the Position: The Customer Support Specialist I is responsible for supporting the branch operational and customer support activities in a central Customer Service Team. Opens all new accounts for Relationship Managers; assists customers over the phone with their banking needs; recommends appropriate Bank products and services, performs branch clerical duties; maintains expert knowledge of bank products and services; positively represents the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. Essential Duties: Strives to resolve customer inquiries and issues during the first interaction to ensure a one-call resolution. Delivers prompt and effective customer service by answering calls within two rings and providing accurate, timely solutions to customer inquiries and concerns De-escalates and /or escalates situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patient assistance and support. Builds and maintains positive relationships and engages customers by going above and beyond. Manages support tickets efficiently, delivering accurate solutions within expected timeframes. Develops a working knowledge and maintain a reference guide of community resources. Conduct outreach activities and administer Neighborhood Resource Center survey to engage the community. Assess and evaluate needs of the families and provide guidance and case management either in person or virtually. Responsible to recruit participants, coordinate, plan, provide resource materials and hosts Family Cafés and other EPU trainings/workshops. Ensures that all Family Café surveys and other outcome assessments are completed. Responsible to collect, summarize and report all data and information including the Family Café surveys and other outcome assessments as required by program. Responsible for entering data into identified data bases; Apricot 360 and ETO. Continue skill development related to job responsibilities by attending approved trainings and participation in the development and achievement of the program, department and personal goals. Maintain, manage, and process client records and information in a confidential manner that meets HIPAA and other applicable confidentiality regulations. During delivery of product, navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required. STOOPING/BENDING: Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station. Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station. Duration of this position is approximately 40-45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously during the day. Forward bending is also present at the front counter when stocking ingredients. CROUCHING/SQUATTING: Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas. REACHING: Reaching is performed continuously; up, down, and forward. Workers reach above 72” occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves. Workers reaching down to perform such tasks as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or washing dishes. Workers reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones. HAND TASKS: Eye-hand coordination is essential. Use of hands is continuous during the day. Frequently activities require use of one or both hands. Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists. Workers must manipulate a pizza peel when removing a pizza from an the oven., and when using the rolling cutter.
