Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily deliveries of home medical equipment and supplies to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner

- Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record

In this role employees will have direct patient contact. The primary function is to transport patients, visitors and patient related items throughout the Mayo Clinic campus in a safe and efficient manner. In addition, employees must have full use of hands, ability to perform repetitive wrist and elbow movements, repetitive foot motions and trunk rotate/twist/reach actions. Employees are required to disinfect equipment after each patient use and request maintenance as needed through the appropriate channels. Performing wheelchair roundups to General Service storage locations or designated floors is a daily task. Employees will transport patients who require the use of oxygen, intravenous pumps, wound vacs and/or other special equipment, as well as assist patients in and out of wheelchairs/stretchers and perform correct patient identification by utilizing two patient identifiers (name and date of birth). Employees are required to use a slider board and slider sheet to transfer patients to/from beds and/or stretchers with assistance from other care team members. Employees are required to confirm with staff and adhere to the medical isolation precautions and protocols. This requires additional hands-on training. Employees must provide detailed verbal communication to appropriate staff during the drop off and pick up of patients in the inpatient setting.
Working hours may include days, evenings, overnights, holidays, and weekends with rotating days off. Staff may be required to attend meetings outside of their normal work schedule and/or assist in the training of new employees. A minimum of 80 hours of on the job training is necessary to perform basic job functions.

The DME Sales and Service Specialist is responsible for the sales, service, delivery, and education of durable medical equipment to the customers of Winona Home Medical.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
â Assist patients in the selection of available DME products.
Demonstrate and explain DME equipment for in-home use and obtain appropriate documentation. Complete pick-up and sanitation of equipment as needed.
Perform maintenance and repair of DME products per manufacturer's guidelines.
Assemble equipment and stock the retail sales floor.
Assist with the DME order intake process.
Contact eligible patients for monthly/quarterly resupply orders.
Perform POS transactions, along with opening and closing duties.
Answer customer inquiries and process patient payments via phone and walk-ins.
Other duties as delegated by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct reports.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Required:
Effective interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills
Preferred:
Associate's degree in a related field of study.
Experience in DME products and services
Basic computer skills
