ROLE SUMMARY: Production operators are a vital piece of the Supply organization within Anheuser Busch. Production operators help pump out the volume working with high-speed, automated technology. Safety first, quality always, then volume. Production operators are a critical part of our workforce, by monitoring quality, interpreting data, and improving upon processes to ensure we're operating the best we can. Requirements • Operating packaging equipment such as boxing stations and bagging stations. • Erecting, pre-labeling, and preparing packaging for customers, clients, and other end users. • Performing "Class A" cleanups on packaging equipment. • Performing mandatory facility checks including scales, metal deflectors, and magnets. • Responsible for the safe operations of power trucks. • Responsible for the safe and secure operations of extrusion and/or compounding feed system equipment as directed by management. • Building batches to specified product formulas, supplying material to additive feeders, filling and positioning tote bins and operating fiber processing equipment. • Responsible for the safe and secure operations of extrusion and/or compounding equipment such as extruders and/or compounders, temperature controllers, sluiceways, quench tanks, pelletizers, cooler-screeners, and product transfer equipment. • Monitoring and recording raw materials used in the process, processing conditions, quality test results, and other production data. • Performing "Class A" cleanups on extrusion and compounding equipment. • Service as a resource on quality improvement teams and safety teams. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Ability to understand, monitor, and regulate integrated production and packaging equipment. EDUCATION: • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: • Attention to detail • Problem solving skills. Essential Functions: * Supply and operate welding systems. Make running adjustments as needed. * Operate plasma cutters and material handling equipment such as overhead hoists and cranes. * Lay out, position, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding. * Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment as scheduled. * Meet established production standards. * Conduct required quality checks using basic measuring equipment. * Accurately report daily activities on work orders, QAD Reporting, and Kanban cards and other media as required. * Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
