JOB SUMMARY The warehouse coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, accuracy in inventory handling, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role provides hands-on leadership to warehouse associates, coordinates inbound and outbound activities, and serves as a key communication link between warehouse staff, supervisors, customer service and other departments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: Operational Leadership o Lead, train, and support warehouse associates in daily tasks. o Assign tasks and monitor performance to maintain productivity, accuracy, and timeliness. o Serves as acting supervisor when leadership is unavailable. · Inventory Management o Ensure accurate inventory by completing cycle counts or physical inventory counts daily/weekly. o Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies o Maintain proper stock rotation, labeling, and organization within the warehouse and warehouse grounds. · Logistics and Workflow coordination o Coordinate inbound deliveries and outbound shipments to meet customer and production deadlines. o Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments to resolve scheduling or delivery issues. o Optimize workflow by identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements. · Safety and Compliance o Enforce safety policies, warehouse procedures, and regulatory requirements. o Conduct routine safety checks on equipment, storage areas, and over facility. o Complete all required trainings. o Promote a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. · Documentation and Reporting o Complete and maintain required logs, reports, and documentation (receiving logs, shipment paperwork, inventory adjustments, etc.). o Track and report key warehouse metrics such as pick accuracy, productivity, and damages. · Work schedule o Full-time; may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime as business needs require. WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE: · Proven work experience working in a Warehouse setting · Warehousing and stock control methods and procedures · Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency · Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data · Warehouse operations, procedures, equipment, and terminology · Proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies. · Excellent inventory methods and practices.
