Pam Baxter joined Cynosure in September 2020 as Chief Information Officer. In this role she leads the company’s global information services strategy delivering transformational impact on consumers, customers and the business.

Prior to joining Cynosure Pam’s most recent role was leading the Retail and Consumer Products Global Practice in Amazon Web Services Professional Services organization, where she was responsible for leading transformation and innovation for Amazon Web Services’ Retail and Consumer Products Global customers. Prior to AWS, Pam was the Chief Information Officer at Talbots, where she was responsible for leading a comprehensive Omni-Channel Digital Strategy in support of Talbots’ growth and innovation initiatives.

Pam was also the Chief Information Officer at CompuCom Systems (Managed Services, Technology, and Consulting) where she was responsible for driving the strategy and operations for all services delivered.

Other IT roles include as Vice President, Global Service Delivery Systems for Getronics, plus Vice President, Software Engineering at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. Pam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance, from the University of Massachusetts. Pam lives in Wellesley, MA with her husband and three daughters.

Katie Cheng joined Cynosure in January, 2021 as Chief Marketing Officer. Katie is a powerhouse marketing leader with more than 25 years of diverse experience in consumer and professional brand and product marketing across the beauty, medical device, and electronics industries. In the role of CMO, Katie will help cultivate and transform insights into new, industry-leading innovations to further expand Cynosure’s global product portfolio that that will drive growth and help support customers and partners for continued success.

Cheng most recently served as CMO at luxury audio company, Bowers & Wilkins. Prior to that, as VP of Marketing at Samsung Electronics America, Katie more than doubled unaided brand awareness and accelerated Samsung’s home electronics share from #4 to #1. Prior to Samsung, Cheng developed extensive beauty experience at Johnson & Johnson with her 12-year tenure, where she was Group Brand Director of the Global Franchise organization responsible for innovation strategy and pipeline development for such flagship brands as AVEENO®, Clean & Clear® and Neutrogena®.

Katie graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BA in Oriental Studies from the College of Arts & Sciences. A born-and-bred Jersey Girl, she currently resides in beautiful Princeton, NJ with her daughter Maia.
