Required Qualifications and Experience:The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience with the Workato platform and demonstrate mastery in the following domains:Core Integration and Platform Expertise
Platform Mastery (5+ Years): Minimum 5 years of overall experience covering recipe design, job execution, governance, and platform administration. Expert in Core Integration & Process Automation, including nested logic, advanced data transformation (Ruby/Python), and reusable callable functions.
Data Synchronization (4+ Years): Experience in large-scale Data Synchronization and ETL/ELT workflows, including bulk/batch actions and effective data management using Data Tables and FileStorage.
API Management (4+ Years): Proven experience with the API Gateway, including deploying secure API endpoints, implementing API proxies, rate limiting, and handling OAuth/JWT authentication.
Developer Tools (3+ Years): Experience extending the platform by building Custom Connectors using the Connector SDK and/or automating platform tasks via the Developer API.
Event-Driven Architectures (3+ Years): Experience configuring event triggers/publishers for message queues and brokers (e.g., Kafka, Amazon SQS).
User Experience Automation (2+ Years): Experience building user-facing Workflow &
AgentX Apps that incorporate human-in-the-loop steps.
Boomi Integration Experience: at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Boomi integration.
Generative AI and Agentic Orchestration
Autonomous AI Agents (1+ Year): Practical experience designing and deploying autonomous AI Agents (Genies) in Agent Studio for complex, multi-system orchestration based on natural language intent.
AI Governance (1+ Year): Experience implementing enterprise governance, including RBAC and audit trails, for all actions performed by AI Agents.
Intelligent Document Processing (1+ Year): Experience implementing IDP workflows for data extraction and classification from unstructured content.
Preferred Skills:
Cloud Architecture: Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration services.
DevOps Practices: Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for Workato recipes and managing deployment through version control (Git).
Programming Languages: Strong command of at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, or JavaScript) for custom connector logic and advanced recipe steps.
Security Certifications: Knowledge of enterprise security standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2).
Workato Certifications: Certified Workato Automation Pro III or equivalent experience.
Industry Experience: Direct experience implementing Accelerators in a specific domain (e.g., Finance, HR, Sales Operations).
Work Environment:
This position may require occasional on-call support for production issues, with assistance sometimes needed outside of regular work hours.
The role may involve working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Compensation: $65 - $89.29 per hour
