Reporting to the Sr Director, Operations, the Plant Manager will be responsible for the production and logistics activities at the facility. This position will be the primary liaison to the Corporate Team and manage a multi-shift operation across various departments. In addition, this role has responsibility for directing and controlling elements of the production operations within capital and operating budget parameters for the facility. The Plant Manager will formulate strategic production plans that are consistent with company future planning in terms of facilities, equipment, machinery, and personnel. In addition, the Plant Manager will be responsible to lead, develop and mentor plant leadership and collaborate with supporting functions.
The ideal candidate for this position will work effectively in a team environment. Position Responsibilities
Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and guidance to plant management throughout floor level associates, focusing on talent acquisition, retention, and development.
Responsible for safety, food safety, quality, product availability, customer service and cost performance within the facility by leading with a zero-injury mentality and partnering with Safety, Health and Sustainability (SH&S) representative to drive safety initiatives across the facility.
Provide leadership

Ensure that the facility is adding value to the company every day.
Develop scorecards and metrics to ensure plant's productivity meet targeted goals.
Collect and analyze data to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive quality and/or production goals.

Stay abreast of new and changing technology and regulatory requirements.
Manage assigned teams to ensure they maintain plant and grounds in sanitary condition to achieve and assure ongoing Global Food Safety Initiatives (GFSI) certification.
Provide insight and guidance to Finance teams to create annual operating budget. Adhere to the plant's operating budget including standard output and compliance to budget reports.
Partner with Engineering to introduce new products, programs, and capital equipment.
Develop and implement labor strategies that are in alignment with demand and business priorities.
Balance daily management with long-term strategic planning to ensure business success.
Set clear and meaningful performance expectations for direct reports as well as establishing performance objectives for dotted line responsibilities of manufacturing support and direct labor associates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree required, major in Business Management or Engineering preferred.
Five or more years cumulative or progressive manufacturing management experience is required.
OSHA 10 certification is required, OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
PCQI (Preventative Controls Qualified Individual) required.
Six Sigma Green Belt or similar preferred, Six Sigma Yellow Belt a plus.
Proven ability to effectively manage and train teams is required.
Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, are required.
Excellent planning and general management skills are required.
Good computer skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required.
Ability to work well under pressure with multiple demands in a team environment is required
Bilingual, English and Spanish, is preferred. Must demonstrate a desire for continuous improvement of the process and cost reduction.
Ability to manage employees and resolve personnel issues professionally is required.
Basic trouble shooting skills to resolve mechanical and electrical issues is required.

Founded in 1998 Propio Language Services provides critical interpreting and translation services that improve the quality of life with the communities we engage in. We do that by providing both remote and on-site services in more than 350 languages, for over 12,000 clients with a diverse and highly experienced staff, and over 15,000 contract interpreters.
Quality interpretation is critical to our shared success, and it is only possible by bringing in the best interpreters in the industry.
We currently have a need for Remote Contract Spanish Interpreters who have a sincere desire to use their language skills to help people and are passionate about what they do.
Contract Responsibilities:
Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
Follows all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge, as required for various clients, such as medical, legal, social services, etc.
Requirements:
Submission of updated Resume in English at time of Application.
Completion of English Language Proficiency with a language rating of “technical proficiency” (3 or higher on the nationally recognized ILR scale).
Successful completion of a Mock oral interpretation session. Interpreters are evaluated against 24 quality standards and must attain a passing score.
Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment, with a passing score.
A full Background Check and Security Screen.
A signed commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of interpreting experience.
Propio's evaluation process conforms to interpreting standards defined by:
National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC)
International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA)
California Healthcare Interpreters Association (CHIA)
