The Director of Commissioning is responsible for leading, managing, growing, and executing the efforts of the Commissioning Department that presently conducts Commissioning (Cx) services to the CyrusOne Data Center portfolio. The Data Center Interior Design Senior Project Manager is primarily responsible for leading and managing consistent implementation of QTS Corporate Interior Standards across multiple projects while overseeing overall management of Interior Design Project Managers and be a resource to help further develop management skills. The Substation Engineer will support the overall design and execution of QTS utility infrastructure. This role will support the delivery of utility capacity at each campus for data center substation and utility build projects. This role will interface and collaborate with many critical stakeholders, including but not limited to: energy leaders responsible for utility contracts and negotiations; utility engagement developing relationships with utilities; pre-development leads evaluating new properties; operations leaders managing load growth projections; and development team project leaders planning and building new data centers and substations. The Service Delivery Technician provides direct support to and is a central point of contact for CyrusOne clients. Job Description A Presales Engineer partners closely with customers and the sales team, delivering customer-driven, world-class, leading-edge, end-to-end solutions that rise to the communications and situational awareness challenges that our customers face. Working within a team of sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources, the Presales Engineer is the overall owner of the solution's technical design, ensuring we meet our customers' needs. As an engineering intern, you will work closely within the engineering team to train on our products/solutions and work on active projects. The team concentrates on the following mission-critical communications technologies at various levels of complexity: * Motorola's Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Products and Services * Public safety grade voice and data networks * Advanced mobile devices * Public safety mobile broadband networks and devices * Software applications for mission-critical intelligence * The typical scope of responsibilities may include the following: * Customer requirements discovery * Technology strategy development * End-to-end system architecture design * Proposal development * Internal and external technical presentations * Equipment and software solution demos, including configuration and testing The ideal candidate has the following skills and capabilities: * Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field * General knowledge of IT network and computer architecture * General knowledge of wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures both * Public and private (e.g. APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 4G/5G) highly desirable * A positive attitude with a can-do mentality that enables you to be creative, resourceful and deliver results * Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences * Attention to detail * Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Willingness to think outside the box and challenge the status quo Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
