Land Analyst Responsibilities:
Perform a lead role in the financial analysis inherent to quarterly and annual Division Business Plans, summarizing actual and projected financial performance for the Division and each Division asset
Prepare gross revenues, profit margins, sources and uses of funds, and related distribution projections, cash flow forecasts, break-even analysis, cost-basis and cost-of-sales analysis, return-on-assets, and internal rate of return.
Assist in financial feasibility analysis for each of the Division's acquisition opportunities.
Prepare underwriting proformas and related financial documentation for each asset acquired by Division.
Perform asset sales pricing analysis (e.g., residual value analysis) and formulate/analyze financial deal points for each of the Division's disposition opportunities.

Program Summary
As part of Lennar's Future Builders Program, the Homebuilding Recent College Graduate (RCG) position is a 6 month-training program with placement into a full-time role in one of 3 key business areas (Construction, Purchasing, or Land) based on performance. Future Builders Internship Program - Software Engineering

Program Summary:
Lennar's Technology Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship beginning in June, in which associates apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world projects and challenges. The program will facilitate participants' development of essential interpersonal and technical skills, and position associates for future career success and leadership opportunities. Associates will work alongside seasoned professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture while contributing to impactful projects, and become immersed in Lennar's culture through onboarding (including a visit to a Lennar Community), hands-on training, and teambuilding. Upon program completion, high-performing interns may have an opportunity to return to Lennar as part of the Technology Recent College Grad (RCG) program.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with technology engineering leaders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
* Promote a collaborative team environment and work closely with engineering leads to achieve business objectives.
* Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices set by the technology team.
* Adhere to established development practices and processes set by the technology team.
* Prepare technical documentation and manuals.
* Work on feature enhancements, Bug fixes, and Tech Debt.
* Write high-quality code that satisfies customer needs and strives for simplicity, clarity, and testability.
* Develop reusable software building blocks to enable faster delivery.
* Implement unit and integration tests and conduct functional and performance testing where appropriate.
* Participate in code reviews and understand review comments, partnering with senior engineers, and ensure feedback is implemented
* Seek to learn and stay abreast of new technology and programming trends to apply those in your development work
Requirements:
* Current Junior graduating from a 4-year college or University within 2 years (preferred)
* Working towards a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or similar field (preferred)
* Must be authorized to work in the United States without needing employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. * Basic knowledge of semantic HTML and modern CSS.
* Knowledge of JavaScript (TypeScript) and understanding of basic principles of development.
* Familiarity with JavaScript UI libraries (example: React.js, Vue.js, etc.).
* Understanding of how websites and web servers work and communicate with each other.
* Experience with version control tools (GitHub, BitBucket, etc.)
* Ability to work with various technologies and develop skills for new tools, platforms, and digital workflows

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office. Also requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry items less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator. Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork, and to receive/return phone messages. Standing is required for filing and copying.

* Receive daily loans for underwriting that have been assigned by the Regional Underwriting Manager
* Maintain responsibility for the underwriting of manual loans or the validation of automated findings on government loans (FHA and VA)
* Prioritize RUSH's, Collateral Underwriter conditions, and newly submitted loans to meet the required turn-around time, acting on a minimum (if volume is present) of 100 loans monthly
* Maintain full delegation with FHA Direct Endorsement and VA Automatic with LAPP approval
* Indicate the conditions and approvals and enter the information into the Loan Origination System or Empower
* Act and approve all appraisals and complete the FHA Conditional Commitment and the VA NOV's when applicable
* Review and make decisions on bond loans and conventional loans from various investors and be proficient with all guidelines
* Upon rejection of a loan, notify the branch of their recommendation and submit the loan to the Regional Underwriting Manager for an in-depth second review
* Maintain frequent contact with the Processors, Mortgage Loan Originators and Branch Managers
* Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Education and/or Experience

* One to two years of experience in the mortgage industry

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Assistant Land Development Project Manager. The right candidate will assist the Land Development Project Manager with all aspects of land development. May be responsible for at least one (and partially responsible for at least two) communities in various stages of acquisition and development. Work with area municipalities to ensure land is developed in compliance with zoning ordinances and regulations.

Work with and manage consultants to create land development schedules and budgets
Provide ongoing management and monitor all land development infrastructure construction phases through successful delivery of finished lots to the Construction Department
Work with area municipalities and utility contractors to install infrastructure such as sewer, water and electricity
Verify material deliveries for import/export of fill; pipe; storm drains; concrete, and amenity construction
Coordinate on-site construction activity for the scope of work with subcontractors and field consultants
Coordinate and review with engineers and contractors to ensure that the project stays within budget and schedule
Conduct business operations for the land development department, including management of budget and review of invoices
Verify work in progress and contractor activity
Ensure that project construction sites comply with regulatory and safety requirements of jurisdictional agencies and corporate policy by enforcing OSHA safety requirements, traffic, dust control and SWPPP standards
Coordinate the inspection process with site contractors to schedule municipal and utility inspectors
Interact daily with various company departments, field personnel, site contractors, subcontractors, field consultants, and jurisdictional agency representatives to ensure project progress and provide updates
Maintain project files and records
Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Supervisory Responsibilities

Qualifications Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Two to four years of related experience and/or training
Must have a vehicle and a valid driver's license
Knowledge of heavy civil construction practices
Fluency in construction documents, surveys, and technical reports to maintain quality control and oversee all aspects of construction, including grading, storm drain, underground utilities, and paving infrastructure
Ability to prioritize projects, plan and execute to meet deadlines, and organize workflow
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels within the organization, outside vendors, subcontractors, and laborers
Excellent problem/conflict resolution skills, ability to handle and resolve issues
Ability to make effective decisions under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Ability to manage a budget for each community
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

3-6 years of land development/infrastructure construction experience with project oversight experience a plus
