This position is responsible for the business, financial and customer service activities of the site.
Responsibilities
With guidance from Regional Manager/Director, is responsible for the business decisions of the site, including reviewing accuracy of financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, capital expenditures, payroll and other financial activities necessary to maintain financial overview of the location. Assists in the preparation of the annual budget.
Responsible for establishing priorities and long term planning in order to establish goals which support the Company's strategy and vision; directs and modifies, as required, the work methods and processes to meet these goals.
Manage and adhere to the customer contract.
Manage operational and administrative activities of the site, including all work assignments of personnel, performance evaluations, hiring requirements, career development of all technical and office personnel.
Serves as Company's representative at the site. Conducts relationship meetings with contract customers on a regular basis to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and quality standards are being rendered and the prospects for future sales. Manage multiple relationships in a contract customer base, to include the corporate level.
Ensures an agenda is complete and either conducts the meeting or assigns someone to conduct monthly staff meetings.
Motivate employees and maintain employee morale which includes timely completion of employee reviews.
Responsible for adherence to Company training programs.
Monitor the Company's Quality program in the station and ensure conformity and implementation of standards.
Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, state, local, and Company safety laws, regulations, policies, and procedures on site and at any remote job site. Coordination of safety matters with Company Safety Officer.
Assignment of a Site Safety Representative.
Maintain site morale and customer satisfaction by keeping the customer in mind and by keeping the interests of the company at heart.
Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Qualifications
Minimum 4 year college degree in a business-related discipline and/or 4 years' equivalent work experience in a related field. (May be superseded by higher contract requirements)
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess OSHA 10 or 30 certification
Documented evidence of Project management or Organizational Development Experience,
Minimum 4 years leadership experience or
Minimum 4 years' experience in a service industry or
Minimum 4 years' experience in preparing and managing budgets
Combined 6 years' experience in above three areas if minimum 4 years in any one cannot be met.
Supervisory experience in an Airport environment

Duties & Responsibilities

Notifies Foreman of any unsatisfactory condition(s) identified during the production operation (i.e.; repair, modification, etc.).
Coordinates the efforts of other trades during an installation, modification or repair operation.
Performs component and/or system troubleshooting to diagnose the problem and provide most cost-effective recommendation for completing repairs.
Performs and/or verifies mechanical alignments.

Summary: The Shipboard Electrical Engineering Technician will provide support to U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers stationed at Newport News Shipyard (NNS)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Offer subject matter expertise to shipboard personnel, assisting the CEMAT electrical habitability project team with engineering and technical support.
Deliver over-the-shoulder and on-the-job (OJT) training to ship's force Sailors as needed
Provide guidance on materials, maintenance, and training to ships' crews for shipboard equipment and systems on CVN aircraft carriers.
Electrical troubleshooting, use of multimeters, and megohmmeters and network testers
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
Provide maintenance and repairs of shipboard electrical equipment on U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers, including shipboard motors and motor controllers.
Required Qualifications:
Eight (8) years' experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance of naval or marine propulsion hull, mechanical, electrical or electronic systems
An associate degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university may be substituted for up to two (2) years of technician experience
Documented electrical technical knowledge and expertise in Navy Shipboard electrical systems and equipment
U.S. Navy surface ships or aircraft carriers experience required.
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, diagrams, or other mechanical technical data pertaining to the construction and operation of naval hull, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
Able to work aboard ships in a shipyard environment under industrial conditions.
Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include hard hats, hearing protection and safety glasses
Two (2) years' experience in a position of team leader or supervisor of subordinate work groups is desired
All personnel assigned must have the below qualifications and they must be current or be able to obtain:
OSHA 7615 Shipyard Employment 10-hour training course within 30 days
Respirator qualified to include a physical and fit test

Requires working, walking, reaching, sitting and concentration in the presence of noise.
Ability to move in narrow and restricted passageways, up/down steep and narrow ladders or stairways.
Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs. in weight.
Noise conditions range from very quiet to loud.
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and steel-toe boots.

Environmental Inspector (Field Based)

ERM is hiring Environmental Inspectors throughout the state of Virginia to oversee environmental compliance during the construction phase of Electric Transmission Utility projects. The projects we work on and the services we provide demand teams of multiple disciplinary professionals working collaboratively to meet our clients' needs. This position is a full-time (40 hours + per week) limited-term role with a duration of 6 months, extendable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* The primary responsibilities of this field-based position include:
* Preparing documentation to support requests for variances from environmental permits.
* Preparing and conducting environmental training for construction personnel.
* Conducting field inspections, monitoring and field survey work as directed.
* Interacting with and serving as a point of contact with agency officials, regulatory agency staff, landowners, contractors, clients and other project members and conducting required agency notifications.
* Reviewing and implementing project documents and providing direction, support and critical judgment on environmental compliance issues.
* Providing technical leadership, support and direction to field staff. This includes the coordination of daily Environmental Inspector and Resource Monitor schedules and conducting morning construction meetings.
* Critically assessing environmental conditions in the field to evaluate potential environmental impacts from construction.
* Evaluating potential issues and concerns ahead of construction activities.
* Overseeing the proper implementation of mitigation measures.
* Conducting environmental sampling (hydrostatic test water, soil, etc.).
* Overseeing and verifying flagging of wetland boundaries, cultural and biological resources exclusion zones, refueling zones, etc..
* Inspecting and documenting compliance with a project's environmental requirements by preparing daily written inspection reports that provide up-to-date and consistent written and photo documentation of activities observed in the field.
* Participating in various construction meetings.
* Evaluating restoration activities.
* Performing additional tasks as assigned or required.
REQUIREMENTS:
The role of an Environmental Inspector requires meticulous oversight by highly skilled individuals stationed in the field throughout construction to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental regulations. Qualifications of individuals to be considered will include:
* Experience working in and throughout Virginia.
* Experience working with VA SWPP Guidelines
* BS or BA degree or a minimum of 5 years equivalent environmental inspection experience.
* An understanding of construction (e.g., pipelines, power lines, compressor/pumping stations, gas storage fields, wind farms, solar facilities, offshore facilities) gained through field experience.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* Proficient technical skills, including, but not limited to, experience using Microsoft Office programs and digital cameras.
* Knowledge of environmental sampling methods.
* The ability to travel extensively and to work 40 to 70+ hours per week in a physically demanding position on temporary assignments.
* Be physically fit and able to;
* Walk/hike for up to 10 hours per day on possible uneven, steep, challenging terrain
* Be able to carry up to 10 pounds of equipment while walking/hiking
* Work in all weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
* Hold an unexpired Dual Inspector certification issued by VDEQ, or hold an unexpired Inspector for Erosion and Sediment Control certification and an unexpired Inspector for Stormwater Management certification, both issued by VDEQ
* ESC inspector certification
* SWM Inspector certification
* Experience working within the Power Industry
* Electric, Datacenter, Natural Gas, Renewable, Heavy Industrial, etc.
* 4+ years of environmental inspection, monitoring, or permitting experience specific to linear and/or other energy infrastructure projects.
